Days are gonna be long when you are an adult. Things would go insane and life will throw every mess it wants you to experience, and the only thing we could do is to resist and challenge the tension of reality. You could either dance with it or punch it on its face to succeed, either way, you have to take a long journey before reaching the end. Okay, I had just a very long day this week, so I want to share it with my dearest readers. Be prepared, behold, and fasten your seatbelt because from now on, you will experience what I had.

First things first, in the morning we were waiting for a class suspension advisory because of the typhoon Opong. We were under signal number 1, but our president didn’t suspend our class so we never had a choice but to go to school. Even when the water was cold, I took a shower and just in a glimpse, I saw myself studying in our school library. My classmates designed a group study in the library, hence it was an opportunity for me to not procrastinate the upcoming quizzes.

We were studying Social Psychology that time and it was actually easy, but I had my procrastination time during that day that I didn’t want to study. Our library is so quiet and comfortable because it is not that crowded every time I visit it, but I get distracted by the students even when they are quiet. Maybe because my peripheral vision can see their body gestures and it interferes with my concentration.

When 11 o'clock hit, we had to leave the school library because we had a research consultation that day. We were tasked to choose the final research among the three topics we prepared for our Cognitive Psychology and defend it to our teacher. We headed to the elementary school of our institution because our instructor was designated in its school clinic. One by one, gradually, groups were being called to go to the school clinic. My group was the last one so we had plenty of time mastering our researches and defending them accurately to our instructor.

While waiting, I took a photo of the school. It was a little bit bright at 11 o'clock but the weather turned grey again by 1:00 P.M. The elementary school is wide to be honest, and the kids could roam and play around comfortably during their breaks.

This is the view of the school. They have landscape and a little ground for students. Whenever it gets hot, they can standby in the same spot I took the photos.

And oh, a mural painting. Believe it or not, the grade six students painted this one with assistance from their advisers. Our elementary children in our school are actually talented. In the mural, you can see almost everything about science such as Albert Einstein, a Robot, the Milky Way galaxy, and the Solar System.

Another one, an Inside Out themed door design.

A minute later, we were finally called. We entered the clinic room and it was a cute room. Some groups were still waiting for their turn but we were called to observe their presentations. I also saw a flower art made of papers and I was amazed upon seeing it. I was sitting on the clinic bed because the chairs were full.

By 1 o’clock, it started to drizzle and we managed to arrive at the next building where we would have our Inorganic Chemistry experiment. We brought salt, washing powder, vinegar, an alcohol lamp, and a small rug for our experiment. We had to do it for our immersive topic of Solution and Solubility and obviously the materials were for the topic. When we arrived, our classmates were already in their lab gown suits and had finished preparing their materials.

Our experiment included performing solution using test tubes and other vital materials. We also had to measure the solvent to accurately create a solution, transferring contents from test tubes to test tubes without making mistakes. By the end of our experiment, we heated the test tube containing salt and water until it reached boiling point. When the water was firing and exiting the test tube, we blew off the alcohol lamp and waited for the solution to cool off.

I submitted my report before exiting the class.
Our exam for Social Psychology was an hour after our experiment so I decided to go to McDonald’s to review again—or let me say just a quick recap of what I understood.
I waited for my friends and minutes later one of them arrived at the table. We placed our order immediately because I wanted to study right after eating.

My friend placed her order and we used the McDonald’s app scanned on the screen.

I ordered Chicken McDo with two rice to fill my stomach completely. I also redeemed my free medium fries and my classmates ate it and we shared the fries like a true family. Indeed, a good time to realize again how beautiful human interaction is.
We just talked and talked while eating and I was eating faster than usual. But in an unfortunate series of events, our instructor cancelled the exam because the rain got heavier like cats and dogs. I didn’t expect to wrap the day by dining at McDonald’s because I thought the exam was our final destination. I was happy to know it because I had at least a week to study more and perfect the exam. Hopefully.

After eating we headed home and parted ways. On my way home, I rode a tricycle with this cutesy little bouncing flower. And that marked the end of my day.
I hope you enjoyed my blog dearest readers. Thank you for reading and see you soonest on my next narratives!
