Blindness is a metaphor for the inability to see what really matters.
-José Saramago
If I were to go blind from one moment to the next, one of the things that would affect or hurt me the most would be to stop seeing those beautiful landscapes of nature, the colors that give life to our surroundings and the beauty of people and their smiles. Also, it would greatly affect my ability to see social networks, enjoy TV and football that I love to watch, it would be very hard for me not to be able to read a book, like every so often, since reading is a great way to acquire knowledge and culture when it comes to speaking. It would be very hard not being able to see people's facial expressions when they speak, and not notice when they are speaking to you seriously or if they are making fun of you or taking advantage of you. My mobility would be very difficult, since I would not know where to go, and even if I went out on the street I would run the risk of getting lost, so it would be mandatory for me to walk with another person to get around. It would also hurt me a lot not to be able to contemplate the beauty of animals, birds, not to be able to see old photographs and memories from years ago, it would hurt me a lot not to be able to watch the programs, movies, and series that I like so much. In short, the loss of vision is one of the worst things that can happen to a human being, of my senses, I think the one I love the most is being able to see everything around me and the people I adore very much.
