A day of contrasts, shadows, and plenty of sunshine—it couldn't have been more perfect to go out and take photographs like this. The city, with all its details and motifs, including animals like dogs and vultures, and a few human figures, creates scenes in a city with so much contrast, texture, and harmony. The scenes I can show you from this spectacular day were undoubtedly beneficial. It was definitely worthwhile to go out in the afternoon to explore some of these corners.

Although there's always that feeling of wanting to take more photographs, or of developing ideas that might have manifested in certain scenes, sometimes I don't do it immediately but on other days. But those ideas always remain, regardless of whether other days are different in terms of lighting or the angle of the sunlight. There are always moments of connection, but everything can change.

I never get bored with this routine; each day is different. What I see one day might not be there the next, and that's how each scene takes shape and harmony as the days go by. But the essence of black and white always remains, giving the photograph that touch of magic that makes it timeless, or at least that's how I perceive it.

All photographs are my own.
