For some time now, I've been photographing birds, generally on power lines. In the city where I live, you can find them almost everywhere, including different bird species, from pigeons to vultures to small birds of other species whose names I don't really know. However, here, there's always a variety because we're in a somewhat jungle-like area. Even so, there's some wildlife, or even birds that migrate from elsewhere.

Many times I photograph them, I compose with silhouettes of these birds or backlit ones. In my opinion, you can get interesting results, especially if you shoot in black and white, because it naturally creates more contrast. A close-up of the birds is backlit, followed by a background with a completely clear sky, although in certain circumstances, other elements are used for decoration, such as trees, among other things.

On the other hand, this series isn't just about birds. There are also compositions where you take advantage of certain silhouettes of cranes, or even the simple act of capturing the shape of a cloud that caught my attention. I usually look at the sky to see certain cloud shapes, and if I like them, I'll take some photos. Therefore, these are the images from that day, where I show a few of those compositions where, as I mentioned earlier, silhouettes, backlighting, or simple scenes stand out.
