For this new day, I'm sharing this series of eight black and white photographs, of course. The main focus of each scene is people, depicted on the street. I wanted to capture a bit of that movement, dynamism, and routine, but also some contrast and texture in these scenes from this unique day. I say unique because there's always something different about each day.

On the other hand, the presence of shadows in some scenes is essential. As I always see it, shadows are a way to compose and shape the photographic frame, harmonizing and contrasting them with the elements and subjects within the frame. It's something I appreciate as part of the aesthetic that light provides for composing these photographs.

When I go out, it's a matter of observing everything in detail, of sharpening my eye to what isn't so common but is simple yet perfect for photographs. It's how I capture that movement and circumstance to immortalize it in a timeless image.

All photographs are my own work.
