Gullfoss - Island
(isl.: gull = „Gold“, foss = „Wasserfall“)Der "goldene Wasserfall" Gullfoss befindet sich in der Nähe von Suðurland im südwesten von Island. Er ist 229 Meter breit, hat zwei Fallstufen und lässt durchschnittlich 120 m³ Wasser pro Sekunde 32 Meter tief fallen. Das war einer der ersten Wasserfälle die wir auf unserer Reise durch Island gesehen haben. Gullfoss - Iceland
(icelandic: gull = "golden", foss = "Waterfalls")The "Golden Falls" Gullfoss is located near Suðurland in the southwest of Iceland. It is 229 meters wide and has two stages. The Waterall drops an average amount of 120 cubic metres water per second in a total height of 32 meters. This has been one of the first waterfalls we have seen on our trip through Iceland.
