🥇 Our Trip to Mount Teide - Tenerife by @larissalugo
Hello friends. We continue exploring Tenerife and today I want to talk about our visit to the highest point on the island Mount Teide, which is also the highest point in Spain. There are actually several volcanoes on the island and they have erupted at different times. The last eruption occurred in 1909. As for the first documented eruption, it was observed by Christopher Columbus while sailing from La Gomera to Gran Canaria. However, this was not Mount Teide but an older volcano Pico Viejo, which can still be seen clearly from here. Honestly I’m not a geologist, so instead of going into detail about how this place was formed, I’d say the most important thing is visiting these breathtaking viewpoints and discovering the beauty of nature. As you ascend the climate zones change, you first pass through sparse vegetation, then enter pine forests surrounded by lava formations. Higher up the landscapes become even more barren and at the summit, you can even see snow.

🥈 A tour at Harvard University by @theinfiltred
Harvard University. Just saying the name carries a weight that transcends borders, cultures, and generations. In March 2024, I had the privilege of visiting this legendary institution, and the experience was nothing short of astonishing. Harvard is not just a university; it is an entire world within itself, a city of knowledge, ambition, and tradition that has shaped the minds of countless leaders, innovators, and intellectuals throughout history.

🥉 Maalhos & Himandhoo Islands - A Budget-Friendly Maldives Adventure by @marinast
Many people still think of the Maldives as just an ultra-luxurious holiday destination. However, this perception has changed in recent years. Yes, staying at resort islands is not cheap, but if you visit local islands where the locals live, you can keep your budget much more reasonable. In fact this holiday may even be more affordable than a packaged tour in your own country. Today I want to share with you about our visit to two new local islands in the Maldives Alif Atoll: Maalhos and Himandhoo.
