Our winners today

🥇 The colourful side of Calpe by @mipiano

This past Sunday, my son had a concert with an orchestra in the town of Calpe. It was an orchestra concert from the conservatory he used to attend (in Altea), and an ensemble of three choirs—from the towns of Calpe, Altea, and Benidorm. After a few hours spent with him, some of our activities you could already see in this post, we headed to this town and accompanied him to the church where they had a rehearsal. It was at the Nuestra Señora de las Nieves Parish, the building you can see. The old part of this town, Calpe, is a typical Spanish town with narrow streets and stone houses, but one of the things that makes it so nice is the murals on the walls. It is also very clean and tidy. We really had a pleasant time strolling around and I took a few photos too. A few...? 😅

🥈 Reserva ecológica Costanera Sur (SPA-ENG) by @hosgug

In the world, and of course in the people who inhabit it, there have always been catastrophes, periods of anxiety and extreme darkness that in many cases become or transform into something better, superior, or relevant. This is how humanity recovers from those terrible blows that seem to end life itself. Without this resilience, it would be impossible to continue.

Here in Buenos Aires, we have a unique example of how something that began badly and caused separation, uprooting, and, why not, the destruction of a part of the urban, historical, and social fabric, unwittingly created a unique ecosystem within Argentina's Federal Capital.

🥉 Snow after Thailand: an unexpected surprise in Almaty by @russia-btc

Yesterday I talked about my flight from Thailand to Kazakhstan, where we will stay for two days. Immediately upon arrival, Kazakhstan (the city of Almaty) greeted us with cloudy weather and rain at a temperature of +9°C. Although, as we were told later, the day before our arrival the temperature was +24°C. I hoped to take a lot of colorful photos, but the weather made its own adjustments.

We rented an apartment for two days for $50 and, after washing, immediately went to bed. This flight took a lot of my energy, and I slept until 10 am. Waking up and going to the window, I saw that it was snowing in the city - the first snow I had not seen for three years. I was happy, because now I would have photos with snow! Having quickly gotten ready, my son and I ran out into the street.
