🥇 Bodie, CA - Ghost Town [EN/PT-BR] by @mengao

I heard about this place a long time ago, but never made it there. Not until yesterday. The story about the place always sounded interesting, and all I knew was that it was a ghost town that thrived during the California gold rush. Now I got to know a little bit more about the history of this place. It was just a small mining town, until gold was found there around 1870. The town thrived only for a few years when other more promising gold prospecting places attracted most workers away and then it was just a small town again. When mining was not profitable anymore, it just became a ghost town. Today Bodie is a state park, Bodie State Historic Park, and a National Historic Landmark.

🥈 A morning by the sea [EN/ES] by @jordy0827

I am sure that, of all the ways to start the day in harmony, one of the best is to be by the sea. At this hour the sun is still weak and reflects on the water creating bright flashes, like little sparks of light coming off the waves.

This area is the entrance to Havana Bay, and my intention on arriving here was to enjoy the scenery. Directly opposite at the opposite end of the sea is the fortress of the Morro Castle, with its lighthouse which for a long time guided ships on their safe entry into Havana's harbour.

🥉 Visiting the Mucubají Lagoon, a natural treasure | Visitando la Laguna Mucubají, un tesoro natural 🏞 🏞️ - 📍 Estado Mérida, Venezuela by @yagelybr

Merida is definitely a natural and cultural treasure, full of incredible landscapes, each with its own magic and the Mucubaji Lake is undoubtedly one of those treasures. This immense place is located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, in the state of Merida, at an altitude of approximately 3500 meters above sea level, on the road that goes from Apartaderos to Santo Domingo and Barinas. Upon arrival, this place has parking lots very close to the lagoon, so after our bus was perfectly positioned, we proceeded to deploy throughout the site.
