🥇 Magdeburg - The City of Contrasts and Harmony by @rebet
Hello friends. My love for Fachwerk towns this time led me to the Harz region, which spans three German states: Saxony-Anhalt, Lower Saxony and Thuringia. I decided to choose Magdeburg as my base. Magdeburg is located right in the middle between Berlin and the towns I picked, Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. This city is the capital of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. As I walked along the old city boundaries, I was amazed by a stark contrast. In one direction, you find yourself surrounded by Eastern Bloc architecture. But when you turn your head another way, you're suddenly in 18th–19th century Europe.

🥈 Campervan Trip To Orkney On A Neolithic & Historical Trail by @pumpkinsandcats
Walking in the footsteps of our ancestors has always been something which has fascinated my brain, who has stood where I stood, what thoughts occurred to someone else whilst looking at this view, and whose footsteps do I follow. I've spent a significant portion of my time watching, reading, and learning about prehistory and the people, structures, and lives they led. Therefore, naturally, visiting a place with such rich history and majestic megaliths would be high on the cards.

🥉 Quebrada Sebucán, El Ávila, Caracas by @jesuslnrs
Happy start to the week everyone! Today I have a new hiking trail to mark on our world map. The destination was Sebucán Creek, the perfect and refreshing end to a Sunday adventure in El Ávila, the great mountain north of Caracas in Venezuela. This time I went with my friend Douglas and some other people I met before starting the trail, which begins at the Central Headquarters - Forest Fire Station “Pajaritos.”
