🥇 STOP AT COCOS KEELING ISLANDS - Australia by @marc-allaria
With the Christmas Islands, the Cocos Keeling Islands are part of my only two entries on the Australian territory. Never on Australian mainland, always on the island periphery. And on the islands, society always evolves a little differently. In France we know this well with our numerous DOM-TOM. If administratively France gives the same national representation (theoretically...!), on the cultural side everything is very different, and so much the better. Aux Cocos Keeling is a bit the same thing. Certainly it is Australian, but looking more closely half of the island is inhabited by inhabitants from Australia, and the other half by inhabitants from Asia. Curiously, the two populations hardly mix and occupy different parts of the archipelago. In total, only a few hundred inhabitants share the archipelago, so to say that my mere presence has an influence on the statistics of the archipelago!!

🥈 TheWiindow Opening To Mesopotamia; Mardin 🪨🏚️ Mezopotamya'ya Açılan Pencere Mardin by @bilginhilal
Hello friends. How are you? I just got back from my hometown, and the first thing we did was go to Mardin with my husband @bilginselcuk, who doesn't like traveling alone. I want to thank her again for waiting for me. 🙂 Mardin is a city steeped in history and has hosted many civilizations. I'll share a little about its history, but first, I want to tell you a little about what we did. We set out around noon and arrived in Mardin when the weather was at its hottest. It had cooled off a bit compared to other days, but it was still very hot in the afternoon. Mardin is about a two-hour drive from where we live, so we only wanted to explore the city center. There were a few historical sites further away, but we'll visit them later. The weather will also be cooler, and I prefer traveling in cooler weather. ❄️

🥉 Visiting the Gem of Miramar: The House of Green Tiles [eng/esp] by @mayramalu
Hello, my friends in this community! Today I'm sharing a visit I'd been putting off for a long time—a visit to a mansion that is an icon of Miramar, in Havana. Although I've admired its facade many times, I had never been inside. I'm talking about the famous House of Green Tiles.
I had heard so much about it; its name evokes legends and mystery. But nothing compares to the experience of standing in front of it and then touring its restored rooms.
