🥇 Jardín Botánico de Bogotá (es/en) by @frankblack

Have you ever been to a place so full of nature in the middle of the city? Where it feels like you're entering a forest, but you're actually in the city? This place is the Bogotá Botanical Garden. It is a place full of biodiversity, which makes it unique and full of nature. Needless to say, it is a very touristy and beautiful place that I loved. Here, they offer tour guides in English and Spanish for foreign visitors, as it is such a beautiful and striking place that people come from many parts of the country and other countries.

🥈 Natural Phenomenon Earth Pyramids in Nothern Italy 🇮🇹 by @pumpkinsandcats

A short 5k walk to an impressive natural phenomenon called Earth Pyramids in the Ritten area of the Dolomites.

The walk itself was almost as impressive as the Earth Pyramids with endless panoramic 360 views of the mountains all around. I highly recommend this walk. You can do a shorter or longer version of the walk also.

Apprently this natural earth formations were caused by a huge storm in the 1800's which washed away all of the top soil leaving these pyramid shapes. What I can't get my head around us how the rocks are just sat on top, like a giant was playing game and came and placed them on top.

🥉 Wednesday Walk Challenge : Steamships once transported people and livestock down the river to Kristiansand, Norway by @digi-me

Today I want to take you with me on a hike along the Topdalselva / Topdal River. I took the bus to Tveit, which is about 18 kilometers from Kristiansand city center. Then I walked a short distance on the left side of the river, before crossing via footbridge to the opposite side. Here I partly followed the path and the road. The weather is beautiful and the autumn colors are possibly at their most beautiful right now.

Tveit is very rural. There are several farms here and the buildings are scattered. Many of the locally grown vegetables come from Tveit. The area is especially known for all its strawberry growers. As you see, I met a couple of friendly sheep as well.
