🥇 Exploring the Citadel in Cairo by @elevator09

In Cairo I decided to get up early in the morning to visit the well-known citadel which is located more outside the center and to get there, a trip to the east of the city must be made. The citadel was already built hundreds of years ago during 12th century and the goal was to build a stable fortress that would withstand attacks by the crusaders and because of the location on the Muqattam mountain it was perfect to have the whole environment in one view. It was inhabited over the centuries by different rulers of the country and it came again and again to the fact that things have been rebuilt to adapt the protection more and it was already considered as the most powerful military institution in the country which was to guarantee the protection of the government. For some centuries it was even the most important center of Egypt from a political point of view and was also considered from a symbolic point of view as a sign of strength and power, but it should later lose importance in the military context and be used more for administrative purposes.

🥈 🚙Tour: Parque Nacional Henri Pittier: Bahía de Cata🌴🌞🌳 by @luvilozada

As a child, I visited Henri Pittier National Park with my mother. It covers the states of Aragua and Carabobo in Venezuela and is very large. At the time, it was part of a children's vacation trip. I have vague memories of it, but I know we visited some forest trails. Twenty years later, I returned with my husband, and it was a dream trip come true.

This park is one of the oldest in our country. I looked it up and found that it was created in 1937, but it wasn't until 1953 that it was named Henri Pittier in recognition of the Swiss man of many professions who visited and studied this vast territory.

Our family went to the Sea of Clouds nestled in the misty mountains located in Marilog District, Davao City, Philippines. A place lies a tranquil retreat that offers an escape filled with calm and wonder. Because of the cool mountain breeze instantly awakens our senses and inviting us to stop rushing and appreciate nature’s quiet beauty.
