Hello, Hivers! How are you doing? It's rainy season so I hope you're warm and healthy wherever you are. Have I told you that I just finished my four-year degree in college? Not yet? Then yes, Hivers, I just officially and finally graduated last June!โค๏ธ๐ฉโ๐
To celebrate this milestone, my sister treated me to an adventure park last weekend. If you're looking for something thrilling and fun, then this blog is for you. Let me share my adventure with Papa Kits!
Papa Kits Marina and Fishing Lagoon is nestled in the midst of lush greeneries with a sea view around the property. It is located in Silot Bay, Liloan, Cebu.
Before you reach the official lobby for the rides you want to experience, you have to go through a long walk if you don't have a vehicle, just like we did. Don't worry, the scenery along the way will keep you mesmerized since the property is beside the sea. So you can also snap some pictures for your feed.
There are signages beside the road to guide you. What amazed me is that the whole property is one with nature. It's refreshing to see that while people are trying to make a living, they are considering how it would affect the environment.
Upon arrival, we immediately saw the fees for the rides. We decided to avail the zipline and it's the first time for me and my siblings! After wearing the harness and the helmet, we proceeded to climb the stairs above. My sisters did it together since you can ride the zip line by two(your choice). Honestly, I was a little bit scared considering I'd do it alone, nonetheless, I knew I needed to try it haha. Also, thanks to the in charge because he agreed to take a video of me (I have to overcome my shyness because I want to have a memory of it digitally!๐)
Yes, I was barefoot because I was wearing sandals without straps. I'm afraid it would fall in the sea.
After trying the zipline, we were arguing about what to ride next. I wanted to try Skybike but I'm not confident if I can pedal all the way through since I don't know how to bike. I'm not feeling the hamster wheel, though my sister is interested in trying it. So, we ended up not doing the two.
There is also wall climbing if you're into core activities. And a hanging bridge that isn't really high, so those who are scared of heights, can start with this distance. But if you want to drive around, surely, the ATV is for you.
I have seen horses but I haven't tried horseback riding. If you want to experience the feeling of roaming around the hacienda on top of a horse, Papa Kits can provide it for you.
They also have a restaurant available if ever you get hungry after trying their rides.
Papa Kits is definitely a package deal for those seeking adventure amid the city. Be it with your family, loved ones, or friends, or even for team building, it's a perfect place to bond.
