Hello, Hivers! Welcome to my blog. I know summer's over and it's been raining lately buuuut it's not too late to plot your next travel adventure this month before everything piles up again. In my previous post, I shared with you my trip to Timubo Cave and I hope you will get to visit it soon! This time around, I will take you with me as I reminisce about my experience with Taliwangbas Beach on Camotes Island.

Beach getaways are always in the package for almost every Filipino celebration, right? I mean who wouldn't when it always felt nice to soak and paddle yourself in the water? And let's just say that going to the beach every time I go home has become a routine for us.

Together with my siblings and cousin, we went to Taliwangbas Beach located in Esperanza, Camotes. We were greeted by the clean and sparkling seawaters, the fine sand that tickles your feet, and the smell, the air — it was therapeutic. It will make you sing the song of Moana haha. And mind you, it's free. Yep, there's no entrance fee. Although there are tables and huts + karaoke that you can rent if you want.

The place is also picture-perfect so you can take a lot of good photos, just don't forget your sunscreen, everyone! Aside from that, what I really loved about this beach was how peaceful it was. No crowds and you can even have it by yourself on some days because the residents here don't care that much. As for us, we did a picnic style and bought snacks and corn from someone selling nearby. It's an amazing place to reflect on life, to catch up with friends and relatives, and to enjoy and relax away from the noise once in a while.

How to get there? You can go to Danao City Port which is located beside Sands, Danao, and avail the tickets inside. If you'll ride the Jomalia ship, the cost of the tickets is the following for ECONOMY seats: Regular - 300 Student - 242 They also offer AIRCONDITIONED seats, but the price is also higher. After you arrive in Camotes, you can book a motorcycle or if you own a vehicle, you can head directly to Taliwangbas Beach which is located in Esperanza, San Francisco and it will approximately take you more or less 45 minutes to 1 hour of drive. Don't worry, the scenic beauty of the island will definitely entertain you on your way!
