Hello, Hivers! We're down to the final leg of our Camotes summer trip this year. From the cool waters of Timubo cave to the sandy and serene Taliwangbas beach and the beachfront Mangodlong resort, this time, I'm going to bring you virtually to none other than— Lake Danao!
Honestly, this isn't the first time I've visited the place. It's more fitting to say that this has become a go-to destination for us every time we come home. Lake Danao is located in the northeastern part of Pacijan Island in Camotes. Upon entering the place, you'll immediately notice the lush greeneries of the surroundings perfect for spending quality time with your loved ones.
What does it offer?
If you want an adventure, definitely, Lake Danao will definitely grant your wish. They have Zipline which will take you to the other end which is the islet. You can also try other activities such as kayaking and boating that will allow you to appreciate the view above the waters. They have horseback riding as well for those who want to experience it.
Aside from the said activities, Lake Danao also houses animals so you will really enjoy your time roaming around the place.
They have this humongous snake which as far as I can remember, was still so tiny way back in my high school years that my older sister even tried putting it around her neck ( of course with the guidance of the in charge) but now, it was so big just like the ones I see in movies. So scary, honestly, but don't worry, the cage is secure.
They also have rabbits.
They have fish.
And monkeys. There were a lot, actually. It was fun feeding them and they really love to play as well.
You can feel the peaceful vibe of the place. Every corner is surrounded by nature making it a relaxing escape from the city.
Entrance Fee
There is a Php 50.00 entrance fee which you will pay at the entrance. The fees for the rides will be paid separately and there are also foods available inside that you can order if ever you'll get hungry.
