People and circumstance will surely test your beliefs and why you should keep holding onto them. Why do you need to go against the waves?
Root of Morality. "Let him who wants mercy, first show himself merciful" It's easy to always assume forgiveness is easy and the next right thing to do when you are not the one hurt and not affected by the gravity of the offense. Forgiveness is not always easy but it is possible.
For many people and myself inclusive, the reason i do most things stem from my believe in God and conscience. That border within your soul that tells you the right thing to do.

Should i always forgive? Forgiveness is a necessity we all need for Life to continue. Growing up to this point, we all at some point needed forgiveness ranging from little offenses to big ones.
Forgiveness is letting go of the ability of the offender to keep on hurting you even long after. While unforgivenness might look as getting even, it's more detrimental to you. A caged soul only gets sicker.

Forgiveness is not ignorance. People always interpret forgiveness putting yourself in the position to be hurt again but it's not. Sometimes you forgive even without the person asking for it, it's wisdom protect yourself and not put yourself in position to be taken advantage of. Vital positions in your life should be occupied by people with track records. And also, put a guard over your heart so you're not easily affected by people, you can be good and still tough.
