Hola Amigos de On Chain Art c/colmena 156509, un saludo después de tanto tiempo sin comunicarnos. En esta oportunidad les quiero mostrar un trabajo realizado en tiempo relativamente corto (1 semana) utilizando elementos de desecho que estaban a mi alcance. Todo esto debido a la prontitud de la fecha de entrega de una convocatoria de artistas para un concurso.
Curioseando en mi PC me entero de la convocatoria para la 65° edición del Salón Arturo Michelena (excelente pintor venezolano del siglo IXX) ubicado en la ciudad de Valencia, estado Carabobo (Venezuela), cuyo aviso fue publicado en las redes sociales en el mes de Enero.
Solamente restaban diez (10) días para la entrega final de las obras a participar. A pesar del difícil compromiso de participar al lado de los innumerables y excelentes artistas del país así cómo al tiempo para la ejecución de la obra y recursos económicos para la adquisición de materiales, asumo el reto, organizo ideas y procedo a la recolección de materiales sobrantes como cajas de cartón, marquetería en desuso, alambre sobrante existentes en el depósito de la compañía donde laboro, y a la elaboración de pega casera (engrudo).
Sin más, y esperando disfruten del trabajo realizado les dejo los materiales utilizados, el proceso y las imágenes del trabajo.

Hello friends of On Chain Art with hive 156509, a greeting after such a long time without communication. In this opportunity I want to show you a work done in a relatively short time (1 week) using scrap elements that were within my reach. All of this due to the promptness of the delivery date of a call for artists for a contest.
While browsing in my PC I found out about the call for the 65th edition of the Arturo Michelena Salon (excellent Venezuelan painter of the IXX century) located in the city of Valencia, Carabobo state (Venezuela), whose notice was published in social networks in January.
There were only ten (10) days left for the final delivery of the works to participate. In spite of the difficult commitment to participate alongside the innumerable and excellent artists of the country as well as the time for the execution of the work and the economic resources for the acquisition of materials, I assumed the challenge, organized ideas and proceeded to the collection of surplus materials such as cardboard boxes, unused marquetry, surplus wire in the warehouse of the company where I work, and the elaboration of homemade glue (paste).

El 1er paso a seguir es ubicar en mi PC un retrato en acuarela del maestro Arturo Michelena y comienzo a trazar las primeras lineas de proporción, luz y sombra.
Dando como resultado final un boceto realizado en carboncillo y tiza pastel para luego ser cortado en su entorno.

El resultado de la premura para la presentación de la obra no es el deseado para una exposición de esta envergadura ya que el factor tiempo y algunos materiales existentes no fueron tan nobles como lo esperaba. Siento que faltó un poco más de tiempo y la adquisición de materiales de mejor calidad para una mejor presentación (papel Ingret, cartulina, rubber cement, etc...).
De igual manera presenté mi trabajo para poder participar en este importante evento y compartir con los innumerables y excelentes artistas de mi país e intercambiar ideas.

The result of the haste for the presentation of the work is not the desired for an exhibition of this size because the time factor and some existing materials were not as noble as I expected.
