Saint Martin's Island. Picture by: Xill Sabbir.
One day I was spending my free time sitting at home. Suddenly I wanted to see the sea, so I didn't sit around thinking about it. I quickly went to the bus counter and bought 2 tickets for the night (AC sleeper bus), came home, packed my bags and boarded the bus at night. The bus left the bus stand at exactly 11:30 pm. I fell asleep shortly after getting on the bus. I woke up and saw the longest sea beach in the world: Cox's Bazar Sea Beach, just 7 km away. My heart was filled with joy. It was as if time was not passing and the 7 km road was not ending. Finally, I crossed the 7 km road and set foot on the land of Cox's Bazar. In a hurry, I booked a hotel for a night's stay and went to Sugandha Beach. All my fatigue was instantly gone by the roar of the sea, waves and wind. After taking a bath from the sea, I went to the hotel and freshened up and finished eating and drinking in the afternoon. Now I went to buy a ship ticket to St. Martin. I went to the ticket counter and saw a huge crowd of people. After a lot of fighting, I finally got 2 tickets. The next day - at 11:00 am, I boarded the ship to go to St. Martin's, the ship left for St. Martin's on time and I went to my destination, St. Martin's Island, enjoying the sea and birds. I felt a different peace within myself. I spent the day chatting. The next morning I woke up at 4:30 am. Before sunrise, I went out to see the sea in the morning. St. Martin's Island in the morning takes on a more beautiful and different appearance than other times. This sudden trip to Cox's Bazar and then to St. Martin's Island and this blue sea will remain a memorable moment in my life for the rest of my life.
