### Good afternoon, friends!

Not long ago, I shared one of the most original pieces of street art, at least in terms of its location. It was painted on a geodesic sign located in a small residential square relatively close to my home. I spotted it on a short walk from the garage where I had left my car for repair to the rental car stand where the insurance company had provided me with a replacement vehicle.
Well, during that short walk, I also had the opportunity to see another work by the same group I mentioned earlier. The work I want to share with you today was created by the “[Malibu Ninjas](https://www.malibuninjas.com/)”. And as I also mentioned before, this group is made up of artists from various backgrounds and disciplines, which makes it one of the most eclectic and multidisciplinary groups out there.
Their name comes from the fact that they like to carry out their work as if they were true ninjas of art; that is, in a very discreet way, almost imperceptible to the eyes of those who pass by, but in a way that ultimately transforms the object that has undergone the action.
Psychedelic surrealism is very present, and in this work that I am sharing here today, it even reminds me in some way of the Monty Python universe.
An interconnectivity between realities, concepts, universes, colors, and shapes, which somehow come together in a structure that seems to be sustained only by the great imagination of those who conceived it and by the surprise in the eyes of those who glimpse it.
POP culture also acts as a binding agent, making the “cake” very pleasant to eat!
Dematerialization is something that the “Malibu Ninjas” seek to deliver in their work, leading them to express their personal experiences regarding social, personal, and collective issues in an almost hysterically humorous way.
Unfortunately, this work has already been “vandalized,” which may have taken away some of its magic, but in essence, it is still possible to identify most of its elements. There is clearly an adulteration of the original work of true art, which I confess makes me a little sad.
But that's life, isn't it? If, on the one hand, it is being deconstructed, on the other hand, this deconstruction will lead to the creation of something new, or something that will make the transition so that something new emerges to cover up the ignoble censorship that has been done.
This piece was created for the mural painting festival, which takes place on the streets of Amadora. At the end, I have attached a video taken from the project's website, which was recorded for “Conversas na Rua” (Street Conversations).
I hope you enjoyed my post. Yesterday, I wasn't able to fully enjoy my Saturday, as I had to work all morning and most of the afternoon, until around 4:30 p.m. Today is clearly much busier, with a sporting event organized by an association I work with that will take up practically the whole of Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.... Wish me luck!
I'll have to find a way to get some rest tonight. Luckily, tomorrow I only have to work in the afternoon.

Há pouco tempo partilhei um dos trabalhos de rua mais originais, pelo menos no que diz respeito à sua localização. Estava pintado numa sinalização geodésica localizada numa praceta habitacional aqui relativamente perto da minha casa. Avistei-a num pequeno percurso que fiz a pé da oficina na qual tu tinha deixado o meu carro para reparação, e o stand de veículos de aluguer no qual o seguro me tinha disponibilizado a viatura de substituição.
Pois bem, durante esse pequeno trajecto, ainda tive oportunidade de ver mais um trabalho do mesmo grupo do qual eu vos falei anteriormente. O trabalho que eu hoje aqui quero partilhar com vocês, foi elaborando pelos "[Malibu Ninjas](https://www.malibuninjas.com/)". E como também já vos tinha dito, este grupo é constituído por artistas de vários panoramas e de várias disciplinas, o que o torna de certa forma um dos mais ecléticos, e mais pluridisciplinares.
O seu nome advém de eles gostarem de realizar o trabalho como se de verdadeiros ninjas da arte fossem; ou seja, de forma bastante dissimulada, quase que sendo imperceptível aos olhos de por ele passa, mas de forma a que acaba por transformar o objecto que sofreu a actuação.
O surrealismo psicadélico está bem presente, e neste trabalho que hoje aqui partilho, faz até de alguma forma lembrar o universo Monty Python.
Uma interconectividade entre realidades, conceitos, universos, cores, formas, que se conjugam de alguma forma, em uma estrutura que parece estar sustenta apenas pela grande imaginação de quem a idealizou, e pela surpresa dos olhos de quem a vislumbra.
A cultura POP faz também de farinha de ligação, tornando o "bolo" muito agradável de se ingerir!
A desmaterialização é algo que os os "Malibu Ninjas" procuram entregar nos seus trabalhos, levando-os a deixar as suas experiências pessoais relativamente a questões sociais, pessoais e colectivas, de uma forma quase histericamente humorista.
Infelizmente este trabalho já foi "vandalizado", o que pode até retirado alguma da sua magia, mas na sua essência ainda é possível identificar grande parte dos elementos. Há claramente uma adulteração do trabalho original de uma verdadeira arte, o que confesso que me deixa um pouco triste.
Mas a vida é assim mesmo, não é? Se por um lado está a ser desconstruída, pelo outro lado, essa desconstrução levará à criação de algo novo, ou de algo que fara a transição para que algo de novo surja para cobrir a censura ignóbil que foi feita.
Esta peça foi realizada para o festival de pinturas murais, que decorre nas ruas da Amadora. No fim anexo um vídeo retirado da página do projecto, e que foi gravada para as "Conversas na Rua".
Espero que tenham gostado desta minha partilha. Ontem não consegui gozar o Sábado de forma plena, pois tive que estar a trabalhar durante a manhã toda e grande parte da tarde, até pelas 16h30. O dia de hoje é claramente bem mais preenchido, com um evento desportivo organizado por uma associação com a qual eu colaboro que irá ocupar praticamente todo o Domingo, das 7h às 20h... Desejem-me boa sorte!
Vou ter que arranjar maneira de conseguir descansar um pouco hoje à noite. A minha sorte é que amanhã apenas terei que trabalhar da parte da tarde.
