Welcome to another recap! We are already in November. A month that I really like, especially because this month I will reach my all-time high! That's right, it's my birthday month... But there are still many days to go before my birthday.
One thing is certain, time will fly... I have no doubt about that. Just the other day I was telling you about my summer vacation, and the retreat I went on, and how good it was for my mental health, and today, I'm already here writing a recap of the month of October. We are only 54 days away from Christmas... It goes by so fast.
Last night, I ended up not going out to celebrate Halloween. How about you, do you like to celebrate Halloween, or is it not an important holiday in your countries?
In Portugal, it has gained notoriety over the generations. I remember when I was a kid, we didn't go ringing doorbells at night, but rather, on the morning of All Saints' Day, we would ask for “pão por Deus” (bread for God).
But since I've always been a bit introverted, I never actually did it. I ended up staying at home and welcoming my friends who came to celebrate this popular tradition.
Today, since I had to wake up early, at 5 a.m., I decided not to go celebrate the “Day of the Dead” with my coworkers. There was a dinner, complete with a dress code and everything. And whoever wore the best mask would receive a prize!
But the big day ahead of me today clashed head-on with these plans for a long night, with a very painful morning, and no desire to get out of bed. These are commitments, aren't they?
Well, let's talk about some numbers. In the period since October 1, I've managed to climb about 0.14 points in reputation... I'm getting closer and closer to 74! Although the number already officially appears on my badge, it's still only rounded up from 73.6.
I managed to get two more followers. I confess that I am a little disappointed that I am not doing a better job in this area, as I should be interacting much more with users who are not yet my friends, which would lead to an increase in sharing and the number of followers.
In terms of the raw numbers, today I reached almost 13K... I was only 17 Hive short. This represented a percentage increase of 5.37%, which is 0.42% less than in the previous period. But it's also normal, as it gets harder and harder, because it's not arithmetic but geometric. But for that, perhaps more interaction and sharing with others could lead to more votes and more comments, which could invariably contribute to the net result of the posts.
I will continue to strive to publish at least once a day. Every day. It is one of the things that has given me the most pleasure, because, as I mentioned previously, the community in which I am currently most active is the Reflections community, which leads me to have to substantiate some ideas, thoughts, or even crazy notions that cross my mind daily.

#### Boa noite a todos!
Muito bem vindos a mais uma recapitulação! Já estamos no mês de Novembro. Um mês que eu muito gosto, e mais particularmente por causa de neste mês eu completar o meu ATH de sempre! É verdade, é o mês do meu aniversário... Mas até chegar ao meu aniversário, muitos dias vão ter que passar.
Uma coisa é certa, é que o tempo vai voar... Nem tenho dúvidas. Ainda o outro dia estava a falar-vos das minhas férias de verão, e do retiro que fiz, e no bem que me fez a minha saúde mental, e hoje, já estou aqui a escrever uma publicação de recapitulação do mês de Outubro. Estamos a apenas 54 dias do Natal... Passa a correr.
Na noite de ontem, acabei por não ir festejar o Halloween. E vocês, gostam de festejar o Halloween, ou não é uma festividade importante nos vossos países?
Em Portugal foi ganhando notoriedade ao longo das gerações. Lembro-me, quando era miúdo, que não íamos durante a noite tocar às campainhas, mas sim, logo pela manhã do dia de Todos os Santos, pedir "pão por Deus".
Mas como eu sempre fui um pouco introvertido, na realidade, nunca o fazia. E acaba por estar em casa a receber os meus amigos que vinham cumprir essa tradição mais popular.
Hoje, como tinha que acordar bem, cedo, pelas 5am, decidi não ir festejar o "Dia dos Mortos" com o pessoal do trabalho. Havia um jantar, com direito a *dresscode* e tudo. E quem levasse a melhor máscara recebia um prêmio!
Mas o grande dia que hoje tinha pela frente, chocava de frente com esses planos para uma noite longa, com uma manhã bem dolorosa, e sem vontade nenhuma de sair da cama. São compromissos, não é verdade?
Pois bem, mas falemos então de alguns números. Neste período que passou desde dia 1 de Outubro, consegui subir cerca de 0.14 pontos no nível de reputação... Estou cada vez mais perto dos 74! Apesar de o número já oficialmente já aparecer no meu badge, ainda é apenas o arrendondamento de 73.6
Consegui obter mais dois seguidores. Confesso que estou um pouco desiludido por eu não estar a conseguir fazer um melhor trabalho neste campo, pois deveria interagir muito mais com users que não são ainda meus amigos, o que levaria a um aumento da partilha e do número de seguidores.
Em relação ao número mais puro e duro, neste dia cheguei praticamente aos 13K... faltou apenas 17 Hive. O que significou um incremento percentual de 5.37%, menos 0.42% que no período anterior. Mas também é normal, cada vez ser mais difícil, pois não é aritmético e sim geométrico. Mas para isso, se calhar um maior introzamento e uma maior partilha com os outros, pode levar a mais votos e a mais comentários, que invariavelmente poderá contribuir para o resultado líquido das publicações.
Vou continuar a lutar para que eu consiga continuar a publicar pelo menos uma vez por dia. Todos os dias. É das coisas que mais gozo me tem dado, isto porque, como já anteriormente tinha dito, a comunidade em que mais actividade estou a ter actualmente é a comunidade Reflections, o que me leva a ter que fundamentar algumas ideias, pensamentos, ou mesmo loucuras que passam pela minha cabeça diariamente.
