When you want to take a short, quick trip, walk alone. When, on the other hand, you want to take a long journey, walk with company. But the most important thing is who walks with you. Being with someone is not always a positive thing. Often, being together or accompanied can be uncomfortable. We came into this world alone. Into this reality. And we leave alone as well. If someone doesn't know how to be with themselves, then being accompanied can be very uncomfortable. Therefore, before associating with other people or joining a group, it may be beneficial to spend the initial part of the day, part of the morning, or another daily period, or even a period of our life, with ourselves. Because most people get together because of their needs. Some get together to achieve a certain purpose, or to achieve a certain goal, or a certain cause. Or they just get together to eat or drink in company, and only do so because they can't stand being alone. This Sunday I had a shooting competition. It had been a long time since I had participated in a 25-meter event. It felt really good to refocus on aligning my sights and focusing on pulling the trigger gradually. It wasn't a good performance, as I didn't have the opportunity to do any prior training in the weeks leading up to the competition. > ###### In shooting, it is individuality that counts. Only you can make a difference. It is a solitary sport. There is no greater adversary than your thoughts, fears, projections, anticipations, and glories. It's good to set ourselves challenges that we don't expect to perform excellently at. We're never truly prepared for everything... It's good to challenge our limits. To push ourselves to the point where we're a little “out of our depth” in this pool that is life. Do you agree? Or do you have another opinion? Write in the comments, and I will respond to everyone, even if not immediately, or in the first few hours/days—for which I sincerely apologize in advance. ### Have a great day! ### Bem Hajam🍀 ![separador.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/xrayman/23swppYGLECw991bW1wsSTEwnV8YKgqPHaiAdDJioriDcMJR4GymNLH1VbQ98ykpBYkob.png) Photographed with Samsung A26 by @xrayman in 2025, 2nd November Translated with DeepL.com (free version) ![XRayMan.gif](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/xrayman/23tSNKgT6Zssji2twDxLZSeSESs2q8pnNUYQuFe7gqFkFFT3rrjE8pcMnXVcFpd87PxJY.gif)
