Looking at how MoonKarts revolutionizes the racing industry, rewards aren’t handed out just for speed—they’re the result of a deft synergy between skill, persistence, gear, and governance involvement. To consistently thrive, players must excel in four core areas: race-winning ability, active participation, superior NFT assets, and staking COLONY governance tokens. Missing even one factor curtails your earning potential
Every day, a set amount of COLONY tokens is allocated to Moon Karts by Arcade Colony. These tokens flow into five distinct pools:
-
Orbitals Pool: 40%
-
Ranking Pool: 25%
-
On-track pickups: 10%
-
Referral Pool: 5%
-
Seasonal Pool: 20%
The Seasonal Rewards Pool stands out as a 10-day cumulative prize. Each day, 20% of rewards is funneled here, and at the cycle’s close, leaderboard snapshots determine fair distribution—rewarding long-term consistency rather than short bursts of success.
Racing itself offers three winning paths:
- On-track COLONY pickups: Grab tokens during the race—and crucially, finish with them to secure the gain.
- Leaderboard performance: Your ELO-based ranking—both daily and seasonal—earns you proportional rewards.
- Orbitals collection: Gather these special orbs while racing; if you finish with them, they're scored on their own leaderboards. High-quality karts, drivers, and parts amplify your Orbital yield via multipliers
Beyond gameplay, referrals offer a passive income stream. Share your invite link, and when newcomers spend $20+ in the store, you gain a referral point—more spending means more points. The 5% Referral Pool is split based on points earned that day. Only purchases with fiat or non–Arcade Colony tokens qualify; spending COLONY or SCRIPT doesn’t count. Plus, there's a fair cap: no account can claim more than 0.5% of the total Rewards Pool, or 10% of the Referral Pool per day. Any unclaimed tokens roll into the next day’s pool.
Looking ahead, Moon Domes unlock a visionary layer—player-owned racetracks that grant owners 10% of the COLONY tokens earned in races hosted there.
