Synopsis
Samantha is a 27-year-old secretary at a publishing house with a very quiet and routine life, which takes an unexpected turn after the person she loved deeply confesses something that broke her heart into a thousand pieces and to carry her spite, her best friend and neighbor, Jace, invites her to drown her sorrows with alcohol, which ends with three events: a terrible hangover the next day, a letter to the Pope with a very peculiar question and a list of the Perfect Man. And it is with this last event that a new life unfolds for our friend Sam as what started out as a love vent goes viral.

Sinopsis
Samantha, es una chica de 27 años, secretaria en una editorial con una vida muy tranquila y rutinaria, la cual toma un giro inesperado luego de que la persona que amaba profundamente le confesará algo que le rompió el corazón en mil pedazos y para llevar su despecho, su mejor amigo y vecino, Jace, la invita a ahogar sus penas con alcohol, lo cual termina con tres acontecimientos: una resaca terrible al día siguiente, una carta al Papa con una interrogante muy peculiar y una lista del Hombre Perfecto. Y es con este último suceso que se desarrolla una nueva vida para nuestra amiga Sam ya que lo que comenzó como un desahogo amoroso se convierte en algo viral.
With this book I laughed a lot, this writer has an ability to make the most embarrassing situations of our Sam's life with a great humor, and the tone she uses to tell the story is great, she presents you with situations so extraordinary but believable, that you know it could happen to anyone with Samantha's personality, it hooks you from the first page.
The way she develops each character is another of the things I loved about the book because it is very natural, very human, people with their contradictions, their fears and their moments of happiness. And then, we have the story between Sam and Jace, who together give us interactions full of laughter, love and friendship. It also presents us with suspenseful situations between another character and Sam.
I really liked this book a lot, would I recommend it? Of course I would, this story leaves us with the message that it is not about finding the person who meets our requirements of perfection, but to discover that perfection is in accepting, growing and sharing who we are without filters.
Mi humilde opinión
Con este libro me reí muchísimo, esta escritora tiene una habilidad para hacer que las situaciones más vergonzosas de nuestra Sam se sobrelleven con un humor grandioso, y el tono que utiliza para narrar la historia es estupendo, te presenta situaciones tan extraordinarias pero creíbles, que sabes que le pueden pasar a cualquiera con la personalidad de Samantha, te engancha desde la primera página.
La manera en que desarrolla cada personaje es otra de las cosas que me encanto del libro ya que es muy natural, muy tan humano, personas con sus contradicciones, sus miedos y sus momentos de felicidad. Y luego, tenemos la historia que nos presenta entre Sam y Jace, que juntos nos regalan interacciones llenas de risas, amor y amistad. También nos presenta situaciones de suspenso entre otro personaje y Sam.
Realmente, a mi particularmente me gusto mucho este libro, ¿lo recomendaría? claro que sí, esta historia nos deja con el mensaje de que no se trata de encontrar a la persona que cumpla con nuestros requisitos de perfección, sino en descubrir que la perfección está en aceptar, crecer y compartir lo que somos sin filtros.
