Warm greetings, dear friends of this community, to share our weekend experiences.
In Cuba, most people are currently on vacation. This period coincides with the hottest season, when daytime temperatures can reach around 36 degrees Celsius indoors. So, families often seek refuge in the water to cool off. A beach or a pool is an oasis in the midst of such heat.

The weekend is a good time to go out for a walk. So, I invited my family and friends, and we went to a pool 7 kilometers from the city, but it feels like a true paradise. It's located among royal palm trees, lush vegetation, and sloping terrain with rooms, dance floors, and cafes.

The first thing was to secure
transportation to take us there. There were 7 of us, and our bags were loaded with supplies for a good day. My husband rented a motorized scooter with capacity for 8 people, so we were able to make the trip relatively comfortably. When we arrived, I was surprised to find people already waiting to get in. The front door was also beautiful.

The pool isn't very big—it's not a large aquatic complex—but it's very clean, and the surroundings make you feel happy. We were two families and two young men from Canada and New York who were visiting us. We all enjoyed ourselves a lot.
Considering the high prices on the domestic market and how difficult it is to find anything here, we decided to bring home-cooked food. There we looked for cold drinks and other snacks.
After a few hours of swimming, water games, and walking to explore the area, we had lunch as a family. In the afternoon, back in the water, we were able to share conversations and games with other people who were there.

The surroundings are very healthy, with clean air, far from pollution. The music was played at a decent decibel level, very pleasant for dancing, singing, and laughing a little. My son and my friend's daughter practiced many swimming strokes. Meanwhile, my husband and I took photos of the area, being cautious because our cell phones could get wet.

There were horses to ride, and some water clowns to play with the children. There were umbrellas for sun protection and several ladders for getting around and exploring the area. There was also a brand-new lifeguard at the pool to ensure the safety and peace of the swimmers. With these features, we were never bored because we were always in constant motion.

The water was beautiful, and the cool, sunless day was perfect. So much so that when six o'clock in the evening came and the car came to pick us up, no one wanted to leave. At that time, they close the pool for cleaning and to allow time for guests the next day. Also, for safety reasons, no one is deallowed in that area after six o'clock in the evening.
We loved this trip; we were so inspired that we're thinking of returning next week, which is the last week of our vacation. If you're interested, you can take us to Aguas Claras in Pinar del Río, Cuba. I'll join you. Have a great weekend.
