The beach is so beautiful, everyone is at the beach. So goes a poem I learned as a child and that many of you know. Because of the beauty of the northern coast of the Caribbean islands, almost everyone wants to spend their vacation at the beach.
I'm no exception. This weekend is the last weekend of the vacation, and my family decided to take a trip to Cayo Jutia. So, early in the morning, my nephews, his mother, my son, and I boarded a bus, accompanied by other family members. To get to this beach, you have to pass through the municipality of Viñales, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, without a doubt.
A beautiful combination of steep, green hills and plains dotted with crops and small houses. Then you access even steeper areas until you reach the long-awaited coast.
The beautiful landscape fades away as you enter the causeway for about 8 kilometers and begin to breathe in the scent of the sea. The coastal vegetation is very different, especially mangroves. On one side, you can see the mangroves and they look like lagoons. On the other shore, the deep blue sea, and in the distance, you can see small boats; some claim to have seen a cruise ship.
What a surprise to arrive and find the beautiful sea, calm as if still asleep from the night that had just passed. There were really no waves all day, and the water was calm. The shore had very white sand and plenty of lounge chairs to put things on or get some sleep.
The sun was intense, as is almost always the case at this time of year. My son hardly wanted to get out of the water. My nephews, prepared to dive with masks, snorkels, and flippers, were able to capture the beauty of the seabed, corals, fish, and shells. I can't swim, but I spent a good while in the water enjoying the refreshing water.
The family lunch was also wonderful. In a guano ranch, with a delightful breeze, we all shared sweets, refreshments, and a hearty lunch of various rice dishes, meats, root vegetables, and vegetables. Pleasant music, a refreshing breeze, and the laughter of the bathers were all spectacular.
The quality of the crystal-clear water and the calm sea are impressive. This beach offers many recreational options: boating, diving, board games, and fishing. There were really no waves all day, and the water was calm. The shore had very white sand and plenty of lounge chairs. What a joy to be able to enjoy so much with the family and say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city for a while.
Without a doubt, there's no better way to say goodbye to vacation than with a nice walk on the beach with the family. I hope this trip is repeated soon. I invite you to discover Cayo Jutía beach, as beautiful and delicious as the famous Varadero beach.

Para llegar a esta playa se necesita pasar por el municipio de Viñales uno de los paisajes,sin lugar a dudas, más lindos del mundo. Una hermosa combinación entre mogotes empinados y verdes y unas llanuras sembradas y con pequeñas casitas. Luego se accede a lugares más empinados aun hasta llegar a ls tan esperada costa.
El paisaje hermoso va quedando atrás cuando te internas en pedraplen de unos 8 kilómetros y empiezas a respirar el olor a mar. La vegetación costera es muy diferente, mangle sobre todo. A un lado se ven los manglares y parecen lagunas. A la otra orilla el mar azul y profundo y a lo lejos se ven pequeños barcos algunos aseguran que habían visto un crucero.
Qué sorpresa llegar y encontrarse el mar precioso tranquilo como dormido aún de la noche que se acababa de marchar. Realmente en todo el día no hubo oleaje y el agua estuvo tranquila todo el dia. SA la orilla la arena muy blanca y muchas tumbonas para poner las cosas o acostarse a dormir un poco.
El sol intenso como casi siempre en esta época del año. Mi niño casi no quiso salir del agua. Mis sobrinos preparados para bucear con caretas, snorquels y patas de rana pudieron captar la belleza del fondo marino, corales, peces y caracoles. Yo no sé nadar pero estuve un buen rato en el agua disfrutando de lo refrescante del agua.
Maravilloso también el almuerzo en familia. En un rancho de guano y con una brisa deliciosa todos compartimos golosinas refresco y un buen almuerzo con diferentes arroces carnes, viandas y hortalizas. Una música agradable, un aire refrescante y la risa de los bañistas era todo espectacular.
Es impresionante la calidad del agua cristalina y el mar tranquilo. En esta playa hay muchas opciones recreativas paseo en bote, buceo juegos de mesas, pesquería. Qué alegría poder disfrutar tanto en familia y despedirse un rato del ruido de la ciudad.
Sin lugar a dudas no hay mejor opción para despedirnos de las vacaciones que un buen paseo a la playa con la familia. Ojalá esté viaje se repita pronto. Les invito a que conozcan la playa de Cayo Jutía tan hermosa y deliciosa como la famosa playa de Varadero)
