Anemos - Ennéa Arcana

**Hi, good Morning/Nite!** How have you been? What have you been up to these days? Any new updates, maybe? Today I want to introduce you to **Anemos** and share a few little things I’ve been working on lately. Now I’m finally sitting down to write for a bit. There’s a lot of noise… it’s so annoying when that happens, but oh well. I’ve been planning and working on a few things these past days. I’m also considering participating in some art contests I found interesting on **X**. I saw one on **IG** too, but to be honest, I’m not very active there. I actually went over a year without checking it. I logged in recently and saw a contest, but it didn’t really suit my style, so I’ll probably focus on the one on X instead, since the theme fits me much better.  ***"She flows without form. Anemos appears, dissolves, reappears—always new, never fixed. Her breath carries change like wind in motion."*** **Anemos** means *wind* and comes from Greek. As I’ve said many times, this series has a lot of Greek influence… don’t you think? 🤔 And I love that 🤣😘 Honestly, I’ve drawn a lot of inspiration from it. As usual, I started with my go-to base: **Selene** 🌙 I used my portrait of **Selene / Moon** as reference. It was quite similar to this new piece, so it really helped to use it as a foundation. Still, I had to make a number of changes... because not everything was the same. As always, I adjusted quite a few things here and there. Mmmm in the end, 🌙 turned out a bit similar to Anemos, so it was the perfect starting point As always, I made a video of this portrait, just like all the others. I really do have a lot of videos! 🤭😬 In fact, I think I’ll have to do a little cleanup soon… my storage drives are getting full 💔 I also took several snapshots of the process, which I’m sharing with you here. I experimented with some brushes too, mostly while working in Corel Painter... which I love. I enjoy adding textures, trying new ideas… and I really did that a lot in this piece. One of the first things I had to change was Selene’s hair, which didn’t fit Anemos at all. Even though the color was somewhat similar, I really wanted to capture the feeling of wind what Anemos represents. Sometimes I wonder if I’d change things in each piece. The truth is, each portrait has something unique… something it brings to the collection. I’m not always 100% satisfied with every piece, because I often feel like they’re never fully finished. With time, when I look at them again, I catch myself thinking: “I could’ve changed this… maybe added that…” And yeah, that happens. But with this one, I actually feel pretty happy. First, because I really love the theme. And second, because it gave me the chance to explore even more with Corel Painter, which I genuinely enjoy. I’m also really glad that all the pieces have been sold. There are just two left to create, and I haven’t started those yet… I need to finish a few other things first, like the contest I mentioned earlier, which I find super interesting. I don’t want to wait until the last minute like I usually do, so this time I want to focus early 😅 There are seven portraits already finished. I’ve shown you six of them so far, and there’s just one more left to complete the series I’ve been sharing. That last one is Ignis 🔥 I’ll show you that one later on. Like most of the others, I also made this one live on Arena. Though lately, I haven’t streamed much there. I’ve been a bit distant from the platform. I don’t know it all that well, but I find it pretty interesting. If you take a bit of time to explore, you can find some really cool content. Plus, it lets you stream and connect with other creators too. It also has great features when it comes to supporting artists and creators. I don’t know every detail yet, but I’ve used it occasionally. Maybe there’s even content specifically for holders who support creators… that would be pretty nice.
