Hi! I’m Veia Sinangote Cuambot, and I’m 19 years old from San Roque, Don Pedro Rodriguez, Bogo City.
I’m the youngest and the only girl of our siblings. Then I have three brothers: Gellan is our eldest, Jaylord is our second brother, and lastly, there’s Kylle, my youngest brother.
I graduated from my elementary days at Argawanon Integrated School, address of my school Argawanon, San Remigio, Cebu, and then I finished my high school at San Remigio National High School, and then I graduated from senior high at San Remigio National School, address of my school Poblacion, San Remigio, Cebu. My hubby is dancing, then I can sing, but not with a very nice voice. Then I like to travel also with my fam and my boyfriend, and then I like to eat, especially when I am with my boyfriend, and also I like taking a picture or a video when we go out, and then I also like makeup.
When I was young, I had a struggle in my life because my parents had a problem. Then, when I was in grade 1, my mum told me that my father had a girlfriend even though he had my mum. Then, in my grade 2, my mum and my dad broke up, and I and my brothers were separated. I and my eldest brother are here in my mum's house, and my second and third brothers are there in my dad's house. So when I finished my study in grade 2, my mum told me that I would stop my study because my eldest brother was graduating from college, and the way he could finish that, I would stop my study because my mum doesn’t have a job; she doesn’t have money, only the sustenance of our father.
Then finally my eldest brother had a degree. After he graduated as a course of seaman, I continued my studies. After that, my grade 4 journey was so challenging for me because that year was very sad because I found out I have a brother with another woman. I was really angry at my dad because he always chose his second family. Then finally, I graduated from elementary school, and my daddy (ninong) bought me a cellphone that made me a happier person because I thought I never felt so loved by my dad, but my daddy (ninong) did for me, and I’m so grateful for that day.
My journey during my high school days is so different from my elementary days because I have a lot of friends who made me feel I’m not alone, and it isn’t only them but also his/her parents. Then I completed my studies from grades 7 to 10, and after that, in my senior high school days, it was so very peaceful and a very happy year because I had an advisor that knew me more, and also I found a man who could do anything just to make me feel I’m not alone anymore—a very important person to me. And then I graduated in my grade 12. My dad gave me money and his presence, and also my mum.
Then finally, after my graduation, I go to Catmon with my boyfriend since 2022 because I apply for a job, so after I apply, my boss calls me to say that we’re hired, so we come back to Catmon. Then, on my workdays, I spoil both our parents; we can give them what they want, then we buy our dream phone, which is an iPhone XR, then we buy our motor, and now we’re happily living together. Then our life in Catmon wasn't easy because our boss was not good for us; he couldn't give us our exact salary. Then after 1 year of being them, we decided to leave our work on good terms, so our boss said that was okay to hear because even though he was bad to us, we chose to say to him that we were leaving. And then after our boss said, 'Okay, pack your things,' we packed, and then we went out; even though we had a bad day on that day, we chose silence.
What can I contribute? So this is my answer: I can generate content in various formats, such as essays, articles, and social media posts. I can also help with more unusual formats like travelogues or biographies, and then also I can help to find the right format.
The reason why I joined Hive is because I want to improve my skills, and also I want to express myself about my day and what I'm doing in my whole day, and then also I want to earn money, and also I like blogging. Then I have an inspiration to do this because I want to prove to my parents that even though I use my phone the whole day, I now earn money, and also I will be able to write my story the whole day, and then I will improve at talking to someone. Also, as a broken family, I'm interested to meet new people here in Hive.
Someone introduced me to Hive. She is one of my friends, Riza Mae Manzo. She told me that the only thing I should do is write about my daily life. Since one of my ways of expressing myself is through writing, I asked her how to start.
She added me to a group chat and told me to wait for the orientation to learn the dos and don'ts of Hive. attended the orientation with Mr @intoy.bugoy , who explained everything about Hive. I learned a lot from her, as she inspired us to truly understand the importance of Hive. She encouraged us to be friendly and respectful to others to build strong relationships. I'm so thankful and grateful for this opportunity to join Hive and for Mr @intoy.bugoy time and effort in teaching us and helping us better understand Hive. I believe that my writing skills can help me grow and inspire others.
