Hello everyone! A very good morning to you and I thought of sharing some pictures that I captured of the beautiful morning sky today.
I'm actually travelling and on my way to Penang, Malaysia now. My family and I took off very early. We got up around 5.30 and started preparing for the long journey as we live in Kuala Lumpur. It's about 5 hours drive as the island is far up and and almost north while we are somewhere in the middle. I took a cold shower to wake myself up and there wasn't much to pack actually as I got everything ready except my skincare products as I use them in the morning so I packed them last.
These pictures were taken at 8.00 am along the highway. So it was slightly over an hour after the sunrise. That's why the golden hues lined the sky.
There were many trees along the way which added to the greens. Some of them are just palm trees planted for business while most are actually the naturally existing trees. Malaysia has dense rainforest and the highways are mostly built along them so the natural forest is retained as there are also many animals living there. Sometimes we can catch glimpses of monkeys and even some unusual birds. Today there was a bird with bright yellow beak that we usually don't get to see.
Some mountains started appearing as we were approaching the border of the next state. We have already reached Selangor but then that's not far from Kuala Lumpur. Here were going to Perak as it is in the way to Penang and more and more mountains started coming to sight.
We have reached Hulu Selangor here and that's the sign board saying 'May God bless Hulu Selangor'. This is near to Perak and a short drive from now will reach the next state where we can make a stop for breakfast. Yes, I have an empty stomach and I managed to eat some honeydew fruit but I'm still very hungry with a roaring tummy.
The sun is almost up now and the golden hues will be replaced by replendant sun rays and bright blue sky. It's due to the timing and also the location because Perak is much warmer and it only gets warmer from now on as we go further north. At this moment I hope to reach Bidor soon so I can fill my stomach with something as I was running on adrenaline and really need some tangible fuel.
