Hello everyone! Today I am going to share some wonderful, eye-pleasing pictures of greenery that I captured on the way to Raub, Pahang, Malaysia. It is a small town in Pahang. While travelling there, I was surprised to see many beautiful green sceneries with plenty of trees. As @qurator is hosting a Photo Quest with the theme 'Green' this week, I thought of submitting this as my entry to the contest.
The way to Raub was filled with tons of greenery as it was going along naturally existing forest and mountain. This photo reminds so much of a famous wallpaper that looks similar to this.
This is what we call rainforest which exists in most parts of Malaysia and we can see them during long distance travels all along the highways. If we are lucky, we can even catch a glimpse of a wild animal.
I am not sure what these trees are but they look beautiful right. Here they seem smaller but in real they were much taller.
This is the picture that I submitted as my entry because they have the most green without the blue skies dominating them. I also really liked how the trees were standing tall and seemed like they were looking down at me.
There were also some mountains along the way and rainforests that seemed to climb upwards towards higher land. The Malaysian highway is generally built among the natural rainforest so many parts are maintained and not destroyed completely. Often times, we can also see monkeys, snakes and large lizards crossing the road. We slow down quickly so we don't hurt them as we are the ones trespassing their home.
The trees were in different shapes and sizes. This row of trees seemed to have a mixture of them arranged in a slightly chaotic manner.
This picture was taken on the way back during early evening. The sun was at the peak which is probably why the sky looks brighter and lighter. The previous pictures were all taken in the morning and hence the sky looked more blue.
The picture above too was taken on the way back. I really loved the greenery and lots of trees and couldn't stop taking the pictures. I also noticed that there were more clouds during the evening a rain could possibly take place later on.
Thank you for hosting this contest @qurator. It is my most last minute submission but I didn't want to miss this theme and started writing as soon as I saw it. There is 20 minutes left as I'm hitting 'publish' for this post. Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful day ahead everyone!
