Hoy vengo a participar en la iniciativa [¿Qué opinas?: “Formas de celebrar el día de Halloween”]( https://peakd.com/hive-117341/@mundohispano/que-opinas-formas-de-celebrar-el-dia-de-halloween-es-en) que la comunidad de @mundohispano nos invita a desarrollar como celebramos en los países latinoamericanos una celebración que no es propia de este lado, más bien es una muy de estados unidos, pero que en las últimas décadas la hemos ido adoptando.

Cuando era pequeña esto del Halloween no era como tan boom del momento, si había como pequeñas celebraciones en mi familia de disfraces y esas cosas, que era como una excusa para celebrar el cumpleaños de los muchos familiares que cumplían en ese mes, que, si mama, dos primas y dos primos y así sucesivamente; como a muchas les gustaba las películas de terror y todas de ese género, pues era el motivo perfecto para ser la brujita, la calavera y muchos monstruos de esos filmes terroríficos. Ya grande, se fue como pronunciando esa celebración, pero hubo tiempo que, por lo menos dentro de mi entorno familiar ya no lo volvimos hacer, fueron tanto por la migración, como por la economía, adquirir o hacer disfraces era elevado, y ni se diga de los dulces, peor aún.

Actualmente, si vemos, por lo menos algunos familiares que quedan en el país, si lo celebran, sobre todo mi prima, disfraza a su hija y hacen una mini fiesta de recolección de dulces en su entorno de amigos y momentos así. El año pasado si intentamos hacerle un maquillaje a mi sobrino, bien feo por cierto, pero algo para que disfrutara, aun así no es lo mismo que ir a pedir dulces, este año como tal, no hicimos nada, ya que nos dimos cuenta de ese hecho y que no había nadie más con que se divirtiera, no era lo mismo y preferimos no realizarle nada, ah que si en la escuela le dicen que vayan disfrazados, normal, se busca el atuendo, ya que más allá de una festividad pagana que muchos lo consideran así, es un evento recreativo para los niños, para que se diviertan, socialicen y seamos creativos en los disfraces.

En este sentido, siento que, en Latinoamérica, lo hemos venido adoptando, porque es la oportunidad perfecta para salir de la rutina, vestirnos de las cosas más alocadas o terroríficas posibles y celebrar en familias o amigos; y, vamos a estar claro, siempre las personas se han sentido atraída por los sobrenatural, así que, es una razón perfecta más para caracterizar algo que sencillamente se encuentra solo en el imaginario colectivo. Por ello, más allá del contenido satánico, que sí, hay personificaciones de demonios y brujas que más bien se estuviese adorando a ya saben quién, en definitiva, todo dependemos de como lo abordemos y hagamos, si lo hacemos solo para disfrutar y que los niños dejen volar su imaginación, no le veo nada malo, todo es cuestión de enfoque.
