# Greetings, @Movies&Tvshows community...
I've been a big fan of Astro for four years now, and this time, one of its members had a leading role in a K-drama, so I couldn't pass up the chance to watch the series and support him. I really liked it. It's not one of my favorite stories, but I found it entertaining, refreshing, and quite funny, which is why I wanted to recommend it to you today.
# My girlfriend is the man! (내 여자친구는 상남자 )….
Also known as: My Girlfriend Is A Real Man; My Girlfriend Is A Tough Guy, it premiered in July 2025, with a total of 12 episodes, directed by Yoo Kwan-mo and written by Lee Hae-na. This story is a romantic comedy fantasy, starring Yoon San-ha, Arin, and Yoo Jung Hoo.
# What is the plot about?…
The story revolves around an unimaginable event that would happen in the lives of Park Yoon-jae and Kim Ji-eun, who were in a very happy stage of their relationship, but suddenly face an unbelievable challenge: Ji-eun transforms into a man, yes, a man in every sense of the word. This, of course, causes problems in both her personal and romantic life. The young woman already knew this could happen, as her mother had warned both her and her sister that they could turn into men, since she herself had experienced it, as it seems to run in the family.
This event will cause complications and misunderstandings to arise in his relationship with Yoon-jae. Likewise, as both of them will have to adapt to this inconvenience, it will test the love they have for each other. Will they be able to continue with their lives as normal? Will he remain a man forever, or will he be able to reverse the effect?
# Personal opinion
In short, I found this K-drama very entertaining because it wasn't like the usual plot where there are body swaps and all that. Here, the girl literally becomes a man, which makes the dynamic between the characters diverse and very interactive. Yoon San-ha did a splendid job portraying the confusion in his relationship and feelings, and Yoo Jung Hoo also did a great job playing the role of a girl transformed into a man, recreating the gestures of his female counterpart, which was good and fun to watch.

I also liked the chemistry between the main characters, and the plot twists were really unexpected, although sometimes I got frustrated with the girl who wanted the main character to be with her when he told her he had a girlfriend. Well, I also feel that he should have been more forceful, but overall I found it entertaining and I really wanted to see what decisions the female lead would make in the man's body, as well as how they both come to accept and accept each other with what they want to do in their lives. What I do feel was missing was more exploration of why this happens in her family, what was the trigger, how this problem is resolved. I feel that these elements were missing, which would have better explained her transformation. Otherwise, I thought it was good.

Esto por su puesto, supone un inconveniente tanto en su vida personal, como amorosa; la joven ya sabia que esto podía pasar, pues madre ya les había advertido tanto a ella y a su hermana que podrían convertirse un hombre, ya que ella misma lo había experimentado, pues al parecer es de familia.

# Opinión personal

En definitiva, este k-drama se me hizo muy divertido, porque no era como la común trama que hay cambios de cuerpos y todo ello, aquí literalmente la chica se convierte en hombre, lo que hace que la dinámica entre los personajes sea diversa y muy interactiva. Yoon San-ha hizo un esplendido trabajo retratando esa confusión en su relación y sentimientos e igualmente Yoo Jung Hoo hizo un muy trabajo interpretando el papel de una chica transformada en hombre, recreando la gestualidad de la contraparte femenina fue buena y divertida de ver.

La química entre los protagonistas también me gustó y los giros en la trama fueron realmente inesperados, aunque a veces me desesperaba la chica que quería que el protagonista estuviese fuese con ella, cuando él le decía que tenia novia, bueno el también siento que debía ser más contundente, pero en general se me hizo entretenida y quería realmente ver cuales serían las decisiones que tomaría la protagonista en el cuerpo del hombre, además de que como ambos va aceptando y aceptándose con lo que quieren hacer en su vida. Lo que si siento que faltó más explorar el porque sucede eso en su familia, cuál era el detonante, como se resuelve ese inconveniente, si siento que le faltó esos elementos que explicarán mejor su transformación, del resto me pareció bien.
