Hola, amigos, ¿cómo les va? Deseo que su semana esté yendo de maravilla. Hace poco me enteré de que en mi país las clases comienzan este mes, y la verdad me sorprendió. Aún no estoy preparada ni física, ni económica, ni mentalmente para ese acontecimiento 😂.
Nuestras vacaciones están más movidas de lo que acostumbraba. Por suerte, ese tiempo está siendo utilizado en actividades productivas para mis hijos, enfocados en el deporte y en seguir adquiriendo nuevos conocimientos. En estas vacaciones conocimos una academia deportiva que comenzó a entrenar a niños de la comunidad en fútbol, desde los más pequeños hasta los adolescentes. Danielito, mi hijo mayor, ya estaba en su deporte, pero me faltaba Diego.
Él siempre jugaba fútbol con sus amiguitos de la comunidad, y cuando le comenté de la academia de fútbol, se entusiasmó. Eso me animó a llevarlo. Lo inscribí, fue a su primera práctica y llegó muy animado. Al principio fue solo una prueba para ver si le gustaba o no, y se animó a continuar.
Hello, friends, how are you doing? I hope your week is going wonderfully. I recently found out that classes are starting this month in my country, and I was really surprised. I'm not yet physically, financially, or mentally prepared for that event 😂. Our vacations are busier than I'm used to. Luckily, that time is being used for productive activities for my children, focused on sports and continuing to acquire new knowledge. During these vacations, we discovered a sports academy that began training children in the community in soccer, from the youngest to the teenagers. Danielito, my oldest son, was already playing sports, but I still needed to find something for Diego. He always played soccer with his friends in the community, and when I told him about the soccer academy, he was excited. That encouraged me to take him. I signed him up, he went to his first practice, and he was very excited. At first, it was just a trial to see if he liked it or not, and he decided to continue.
Yo estaba emocionada porque él también estaba haciendo un deporte y relacionándose con niños de su edad. Aparte de ser una disciplina, también es una forma de mantenerse ocupado, con un propósito, y una buena manera de iniciar su carrera como deportista.
Su papá también se animó y le compró sus zapatos de fútbol, unas medias largas y también un protector para las piernas que se llama canillera. También tiene su termo de agua que se la conserva fría durante todo el día, y otras cositas que le compró para que estuviera cómodo en sus prácticas.
Lo primero fue que se sintiera a gusto en sus prácticas y que nosotros nos encargáramos del resto, y así ha transcurrido. La academia ya mandó a hacer los uniformes para los niños que iban a continuar, y cuando le entregaron el chaleco a Diego, él se emocionó mucho y a mí me dio mucha alegría.
I was excited because he was also playing a sport and interacting with children his age. Apart from being a discipline, it is also a way to keep busy, with a purpose, and a good way to start his career as an athlete.
His dad also got excited and bought him soccer shoes, long socks, and shin guards. He also has a water bottle that keeps his water cold all day long, and other little things that his dad bought for him so he would be comfortable during practice.
The first thing was for him to feel comfortable at practice and for us to take care of the rest, and that's how it's been. The academy has already ordered uniforms for the children who are going to continue, and when they gave Diego his vest, he was very excited and I was very happy.
Diego ya comienza a tener su agenda semanal, que cuando comiencen las clases, deberá alternar: la escuela y su entrenamiento. Yo estaré en constante movimiento, pero he aprendido que es importante mantener a los niños ocupados y aprendiendo cosas nuevas que les permitan tener herramientas para prepararse para su futuro.
Diego es un niño muy talentoso, y espero tener la oportunidad en el futuro de inscribirlo en una academia donde pueda seguir desarrollando sus talentos, que sé que son muchos. En este momento, a sus 8 años, se inicia en el fútbol y le pido a Dios la oportunidad de seguirlo viendo crecer y estar junto a él en todas sus etapas.
Quedan algunas semanas más de vacaciones, y al iniciar las clases, las prácticas de fútbol continuarán al igual que mis actividades diarias y las de mi otro hijo. Por eso, le pido a Dios que me dé las herramientas, la sabiduría y la paciencia para poder cumplir con todas mis responsabilidades de mujer, madre y profesional. Estoy muy orgullosa de mis hijos y feliz de seguir formando parte de cada uno de sus momentos.
Diego is already starting to fill up his weekly schedule, which he will have to juggle once school starts: school and training. I will be constantly on the go, but I have learned that it is important to keep children busy and learning new things that will give them the tools they need to prepare for their future.
Diego is a very talented boy, and I hope to have the opportunity in the future to enroll him in an academy where he can continue to develop his talents, which I know are many. Right now, at 8 years old, he is starting to play soccer, and I ask God for the opportunity to continue watching him grow and be with him through all his stages.
There are a few more weeks of vacation left, and when school starts, soccer practice will continue, as will my daily activities and those of my other son. That is why I ask God to give me the tools, wisdom, and patience to fulfill all my responsibilities as a woman, mother, and professional. I am very proud of my children and happy to continue being part of each of their moments.
