He's the perfect combination of brute strength and controlled elegance. He's a strong and imposing gladiator, with armor that makes him look undeniably tough, but I loved that despite his fierce appearance, he has **SURPRISINGLY CLEAN** elements that balance his appearance. It's impossible to overlook his spectacular, radiant white mane, held back with brown leather straps, and the golden touches on his gloves. He immediately became an inspiration to make these earrings, considering those beautiful elements in his color palette.
I'll show you how I made them, using white sewing thread to form tassels reminiscent of his spectacular mane, brown leather cord, a white stone, and lots of gold to achieve his elegance... Welcome.

Es la combinación perfecta entre fuerza bruta y elegancia controlada. Es un gladiador fuerte e imponente, con una armadura que lo hace ver indudablemente rudo, pero me encantó que a pesar de su apariencia tan feroz tiene elementos **SORPRENDENTEMENTE PROLIJOS** que equilibran su apariencia. Imposible pasar por alto su espectacular melena blanca y radiante, recogida con unas tiras de cuero marrón y los toques dorados en sus guantes, se convirtió en una Inspiración inmediatamente para realizar estos zarcillos considerando esos elementos tan hermosos, en su paleta de colores.
Te enseño cómo los hice, utilizando hilo blanco de costura para formar un borlas que recuerdan su espectacular melena, cordón de cuerdo marrón, una piedra blanca y mucho dorado para alcanzar su elegancia... Bienvenidos.

The first thing to do is make the tassels. For this, I used white sewing thread, but you can really use any thread—yarn, wool, etc.—even if you can use embroidery thread, it'll definitely look prettier because it's thicker and comes in amazing colors. Just make sure the material isn't heavy.
I cut a piece of cardboard measuring 5.50 cm. This is also entirely up to personal taste. If you want the tassels to be longer, simply use a larger size.
Lo primero será hacer las borlas, para esto utilicé hilo blanco de costura, pero realmente se puede utilizar cualquier hilo, estambre, lana, etc. Incluso si puedes usar hilo de bordar, seguro te quedará más lindo, porque es más grueso y vienen en colores asombrosos, solo asegúrate que no sea pesado el material.
Corté un pedazo de cartón con una medida de 5,50cms esto también es absolutamente a gusto personal, si quieres que los zarcillos sean más largos, simplemente utiliza una medida más grande.
To make the tassels, I wrapped the yarn around the cardboard base I'm using. It's important to count the turns so I can make the other tendrils and make them equal. In this case, or for these tendrils, I made 300 turns with the white yarn, as shown in the gif.
Para hacer las borlas, enrollé el hilo alrededor de la base de cartón que estoy utilizando, es importante CONTAR LAS VUELTAS, para poder realizar el otro zarcillo y que sean IGUALES. En este caso o para estos zarcillos realicé 300 vueltas con el hilo blanco, tal como se muestra en el gif.
Once I've completed 300 turns, I'll place a ring on what will be the top of the tassel. I'll close that ring with the jewelry pliers, and then I'll pull it all the way up. Now I can remove the piece from the cardboard where I formed it.
Terminadas las 300 vueltas, colocaré un aro en lo que será la parte superior de la borla, cierro ese aro con las pinzas de bisutería, y luego lo llevo bien hacía arriba. Ahora si puedo retirar la pieza del cartón donde la formé.
With another thread, I make several turns at the top, leaving a little space for the head of the tassel (I gave it that name, I don't know what it's really called) and tie it with two or three knots to secure it.
Con otro hilo, doy varias vueltas arriba, dejando un poco de espacio para la cabeza de la borla (ese nombre se lo puse yo, no se cómo se llama realmente) y amarro con dos o tres nudos para asegurarlo.
At this point, I can comb the tassel with a brush. Some threads may come loose, but overall, everything is secure.
I cut all the threads down.
To recreate the leather strip Chimney Wallstop uses to tie off her beautiful white mane, I'll use a strip of brown leather, perfect for this. So, I place a little hot glue, just a little, where the back of the tendril will be, wrap it around a few times, and finish the back as well. Even though it's the back, everything should be as neat as possible, as the tendrils need to have a good finish.
En este punto puedo peinar la borla con un cepillo, tal vez se salga algún hilo, pero en general todo queda bien asegurado.

Para recrear la tira de cuero que tiene Chimney Wallstop, para atar su hermosa melena blanca, usaré precisamente una tira de cuero marrón, perfecta para esto. Así que, coloco un poco de silicón caliente, solo un poco, donde será la parte posterior del zarcillo, doy varias vueltas y termino igualmente en la parte posterior. Aunque sea la parte posterior, todo debe quedar lo más prolijo posible, ya que los zarcillos deben tener buenos acabados.
At this point, I had finished my design. I was able to recreate Chimney Wallstop's white hair, brown leather strap, and gold elements. However, I felt these earrings were lacking more emotion. So I reevaluated the design and decided to add a white acrylic stone and more gold to these earrings.
En este punto ya había terminado mi diseño, pude recrear el cabello blanco de Chimney Wallstop, su tira de cuero marrón y los elementos dorados. Sin embargo, creo que le faltaba más emoción a estos zarcillos. Así que reevalué el diseño y decidí colocarle una piedra de acrílico de color blanco y más dorado a estos zarcillos.
Here you can see the two white acrylic stones, each with a piece of gold wire. I formed a loop on one end of the wire and inserted the stone through the other end. I wrapped it around the stone once and finished with another loop on the other end. This was very simple and easy to do.
Aquí pueden ver las dos piedras blancas de acrílicos, un trozo de alambre dorado para cada una. Formé en un extremo del alambre, un aro e introduje la piedra por el otro extremo. Now, with a few more connecting rings, I put the design back together with these new elements.
With the two tendrils ready, it's time to clean up the ends of the tassels thoroughly so they're as even as possible.

Now, these White Tassel Earrings, with brown and gold, are large and striking enough to honor this strong and spectacular character from @splinterlands. I loved them; they could really be the earrings of some feminine, elegant, and beautiful version of Chimney Wallstop. I loved this design; it's definitely for me.
Ahora si, estos Zarcillos de Borlas Blancas, con marrón y dorado, son lo suficientemente grandes y llamativos para hacer honor a este fortachón y espectacular personaje de @splinterlands. Me encantaron, realmente podrían ser los zarcillos de alguna versión femenina, elegante y hermosa de Chimney Wallstop, amé este diseño que definitivamente es para mí.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, where I made Tassels with Sewing Thread, recreating the signature elements of our giant Chimney Wallstop.
