Reasons why I decided to watch "Caught Stealing": -- * Austin Butler: I first met him through [The Vandals Club](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film468010.html) and [Elvis](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film589077.html), although younger audiences will know him through other works. * Matt Smith: It's impossible to ignore a film that features Daemon Targaryen himself from [House of the Dragon](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film388341.html), doing something completely different, given the character's performance, which we can see in the official trailer and poster for this film. * Darren Aronofsky: Director of [Requiem for a Dream](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film747961.html ) and [Black Swan](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film458406.html), both films I like more as time goes by and I rethink them. Reason why I "almost" didn't watch it: - * Benito Martínez Ocasio: I don't understand the criteria for having him somewhere, doing anything he doesn't do even halfway well. I suppose it's some kind of joke and mockery of Latin America. Fortunately, his character doesn't last long, so my eyes didn't suffer for long (You're welcome for this spoiler).

Razón por la que "casi" no la veo: - * Benito Martínez Ocasio: No entiendo el criterio para tenerlo en algún lado, haciendo cualquier cosa que No Haga ni medianamente bien. Supongo que será alguna forma de chiste y burla hacia Latam. Afortunadamente, su personaje no dura mucho, así que mis ojos no sufrieron mucho tiempo (De nada por éste spoiler).

Recientemente, se agregó a carteleras de Cines la película [Atrapado Robando](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film258335.html), y el tráiler fue muy divertido, me generó intriga sobre la trama que se nota estaría llena de acción, humor negro y la música del tráiler con el éxito [Should I Stay or Should I Go](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMaE6toi4mk&list=PLXe0G-YjGGcyJgnrObMSVM2I6hS7zrXiI) de la banda The Clash... gracias por este detalle Darren Aronofsky 😍 Ésta película me recordó a [Malos Tiempos del Royale (Link de mi post) ](https://peakd.com/hive-166847/@yennysferm71/tbt-bad-times-at-the-royale-2018-enjoy-crime-and-black-comedy-eng-esp) del Director Drew Goddard, que por supuesto que fue distinta en la dirección y la trama, pero que eran situaciones de mucho peligro de muerte, acción y HUMOR NEGRO, aunque les confieso que "Atrapado Robando" me gustó más, tiene más acción y me mantuvo más entretenida.
The protagonist, Hank Thompson, played by Austin Butler, was once a baseball star, but he can no longer play; we'll learn the reason later in the film. He now lives very modestly, working as a waiter in a bar in New York and has a very funny and empathetic girlfriend named Yvonne, played by Zoë Kravitz. His neighbor, the eccentric and crazy Russ (Matt Smith), shows up and tells him he has to travel for a few days and to take care of his cat. * VERY FAST-PACED AND ACTION-PACKED: It's very interesting how the entire movie manages to stay action-packed. Hank constantly gets out of a situation, and as soon as he does, he has to run off to try to figure out what's happening and how he can resolve it so he doesn't die. * GOOD PERFORMANCE: Although the characters were very stereotypical, to the point of perhaps seeming like a disguise, they were actually played very well. These actors had very good acting direction (if that's what it's called), which eventually makes them believable, because there certainly are people like that in real life. * DARK HUMOR: My favorite kind of humor in movies, and in just the right amount. Enough to relax us a little in the midst of so much action, but not so much that we stop feeling like Hank is constantly in mortal danger. * DECISION-MAKING: Although I don't feel capable of successfully escaping a situation like the one Hank finds himself in at any moment, he certainly makes believable decisions, ones we would probably take if we had the character's courage. * TWISTS: The twists and turns the film takes were very funny, and the way Hank understands them or reacts to them feels very real. It wasn't just the twists and turns of the situations, but how each character enters and exits them, which allows the viewer to delve deeper and understand them. The twists not only surprise but also drive the plot forward, and this is what I liked most about it; in the end, everything makes sense, and this point is a total success by the director.
* MUY RÁPIDA Y LLENA DE ACCIÓN: Es muy interesante cómo toda la película logra mantenerse en mucha acción, constantemente Hank sale de una situación y apenas lo hace, debe salir corriendo a tratar de entender qué pasa y cómo puede resolverla para no morir. * BUENAS ACTUACIONES: Aunque los personajes eran muy, muy estereotipos, al punto de parecer tal vez un disfraz, realmente fueron interpretados muy bien, estos actores tuvieron una Dirección de Actuación (si es que así se llama) muy buena, que eventualmente lo hacen creíbles, porque ciertamente hay personas así en la vida real. * HUMOR NEGRO: Mi tipo de humor preferido en películas, y en su justa medida. Lo suficiente para relajarnos un poco en medio de tanta acción, pero no demasiado para que nos haga dejar de sentir que realmente Hank está constantemente en peligro de muerte. * TOMA DE DECISIONES: Aunque no me siento capaz de salir airosa de una situación como en la que se ve envuelto de un momento a otro Hank, él ciertamente toma decisiones creíbles, hacia las que posiblemente caminaríamos si tuviésemos esa valentía del personaje. * GIROS: Las vueltas de las situaciones o giros que toma la película fueron muy divertidas, y la forma cómo Hank las entiende o cómo reacciona ante ellas, se sienten muy reales. No solo fueron los giros de las situaciones, sino como cada personaje irá entrando o saliendo de ella, que permite al espectador profundizar y entenderlos. Los giros no solo sorprenden sino que también impulsan la trama, Y ESTO ES LO QUE MÁS ME GUSTÓ DE ELLA, al final todo tiene sentido y este punto es un acierto total de su director.
* PREDICTABLE: Although the film had very interesting twists, all the action, and quirky characters, which certainly made it different and very entertaining, I must say that its ending was PREDICTABLE. It was what we wanted to happen, and IT HAPPENED, and I must confess that I'm grateful for that, because it was only fair. * SCRIPT: I think it lacked a good script. Perhaps this film wasn't intended to stand out or be told through the script, but rather through its action and dark humor. * CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: Again, I think "Caught Stealing" wasn't intended to give us depth in the characters, but rather the story of what Hank was going through and trying to solve so he wouldn't die in this very dangerous situation. So I'm not left holding myself accountable for the lack of character development; I'm just emphasizing that it certainly didn't.
* PREDECIBLE: Aunque la película tuvo GIROS muy interesantes, toda la acción, personajes extravagantes, que ciertamente la hacen diferente y muy entretenida, debo decir que su final fue PREDECIBLE, era lo que queríamos que pasara y PASÓ, y esto debo confesar que lo agradezco, porque era lo justo. * GUION: Creo que le faltó un buen guion, tal vez ésta película no buscaba destacar o ser narrada a través del guion, sino de su acción y el humor negro. * DESARROLLO DE PERSONAJES: Nuevamente pienso que "Atrapado Robando" no tuvo la intención de darnos profundidad de los personajes, sino la historia de lo que estaba pasando y tratando de resolver Hank para no morir en toda esta situación tan peligrosa. Así que no me quedo con la deuda de no haber tenido un desarrollo de personajes, solo destaco que ciertamente no la tuvo.
I highly recommend it. There are several films of this style, and of course, it's our personal taste that decides which one we like best. It's impressive how many aspects play an important role in the final product, such as the plot, casting, acting, script, resources, etc., and from this production onward, I greatly admire what the director did in this style or genre, as well as what he's done with other styles before.
Totalmente la recomiendo, de éste estilo de películas hay varias y por supuesto es nuestro gusto personal quien decide cuál nos gusta o menos. Es impresionante la cantidad de aspectos que juegan un papel importante en el producto final, como la trama, el casting, las actuaciones, el guion, los recursos, etc. y a partir de ésta producción admiro mucho lo que hizo el director en este estilo o género, al igual que lo que ha hecho con otros estilos anteriormente.
