✏️ Con motivo del 195 Aniversario de la Fundación de la Ciudad de Nueva Gerona, en la Isla de la Juventud, El Centro Municipal del Libro y la Literatura en conjunto con la Dirección Municipal de Cultura, la UNEAC y la AHS en el territorio —de acuerdo a las siguientes bases— convocan al concurso XXV Premio Fundación de la Ciudad de Nueva Gerona 2025. 1-Podrán participar todos los escritores residentes en el país, sean o no miembros de la AHS o de la UNEAC. Solo se exceptúan los que hayan obtenido el Premio en la edición anterior dónde se convocan estos géneros. 2- Las OBRAS DEBEN SER INÉDITAS, no haber sido premiadas en otros concursos ni estar pendientes de fallo. 3- Corresponde, en esta edición del concurso, a los géneros de POESÍA y NARRATIVA. 4- El tema es libre y la extensión oscilara entre 30 y 50 cuartillas. La obra se presentará en formato digital como archivo Word, en página Carta con letra Arial de 12 puntos, interlineado 2.0 y con todas sus páginas numeradas. 5- En la plica se consignará el nombre completo del autor, carné de identidad, dirección particular, teléfono y un breve currículo literario si lo posee, así como una declaración de que el libro no está comprometido con ninguna editorial ni participa simultáneamente en otro concurso pendiente de resolución. 6- Las obras se enviarán exclusivamente por correo electrónico a la siguiente dirección: premiociudadnuevagerona@gmail.com sin que pueda deducirse a través del remitente ningún dato referido al autor. El “asunto” del mensaje llevará como texto: “Premio de la ciudad 2025”. El contenido del mensaje consistirá únicamente en dos archivos anexos en formato Word uno con la obra que se presenta a concurso, el nombre de ese archivo será el título de la obra y el otro con la plica identificada por el seudónimo. 7- El plazo de admisión vence el 30 de noviembre del 2025 a las 12:00 am. 8- Por cada género se designará un jurado compuesto por destacados escritores, cuyo dictamen será inapelable. 9- Se otorgará un premio único en cada género, consistente en 15 000.00 pesos MN cada uno y diplomas acreditativos al evento. 10- Los trabajos premiados serán publicados en formato digital por la Editorial El Abra. 11- No se entregarán menciones, aunque el jurado podrá recomendar otros libros sin que ello signifique ningún tipo de compromiso. 12- La Filial de la UNEAC en la Isla de la Juventud entregara el Premio: Waldo Medina, a un escritor radicado en el Municipio de las obras en concurso. 13- Los trabajos serán eliminados definitivamente una vez que el fallo sea efectivo. 14- El fallo del jurado se dará a conocer en las festividades por el Aniversario 195 de la Fundación de la Ciudad de Nueva Gerona, el miércoles 17 de diciembre del 2025. 15- La participación en el concurso implica la total aceptación de las bases y su estricto cumplimiento.
