Mi mamá vive en un pueblo llamado Barrancas, como a 20 minutos de la ciudad de Barinas, fui a buscarla y la traje a mi casa para ofrecerle un día distinto para ella. Comenzamos desde la mañana, nos reunimos para hacer un rico almuerzo al aire libre, aprovechamos las bondades que nos da las áreas verdes frente a mi casa que es una zona arborizada y cuidadas por nosotros mismos, preparamos una rica carne asada con ensalada, yuca cocida, y algunas salsas, esta comida estuvo deliciosa.

Ella es una mujer que se gana el cariño de todos los que están a su alrededor por su dulzura, hospitalidad y disposición a siempre servir al otro, Mi madre tuvo 8 hijos, de los cuales somos 4 hembras y 4 varones, en esta celebración estuvimos presentes físicamente las hembras, ya que mis hermanos están fuera de Venezuela, sin embargo estuvieron presente desde la distancia.
