El acto de migrar, es inherente a la existencia misma del ser humano y de disímiles especies del reino animal. Le proporciona, a ambos, la posibilidad de elegir el lugar y el modo existencial deseados.
Pero, éste, puede ser el desencadenate de un fastidioso estado emocional y sentimental que, algunos entendidos han coincidido en llamar: "SÍNDROME DEL DESARRAIGO". Donde inciden factores psicológicos derivados, en no pocos casos, del miedo al fracaso y las dificultades que le ocasiona, al individuo, adaptarse a costumbres nuevas, lejanas a las heredadas de su ámbito cultural, familiar y geográfico de origen, por muy satisfactoria que resulte la nueva experiencia. Sólo atenuadas, cuando se logra establecer una comunicación regular con sus familiares o la reunificación definitiva. En los tiempos que corren, el instinto que muchas veces hace más complicado y degradante este proceso, subyace en la naturaleza insensible y diabólica, del poder desmedido. Quien, por lo general, en perspicaz y amañada deliberación, entorpece o anula el derecho humano legítimo de poder viajar sin tantas regulaciones absurdas ni prejuicios prohibitivos, a los ámbitos geográficos y sociales que desean, para la anhelada realización de sus sueños.
La nueva y conmovedora modalidad, en masas, asumida para el emprendimiento migratorio, estos últimos años se manifiesta como un fenómeno inédito de múltiples amenazas para caravanistas, países emisores y receptores, dados los novedosos imperativos generados por las caóticas circunstancias sanitarias que impusieron la Covid-19, el cambio climático en el mundo y otras condicionantes no menos apreciables. Sin lugar a dudas, muchos se adaptan a las nuevas condiciones de vida y llegan a triunfar, pero un sector importante de los millones de emigrantes en el mundo, arrastran y arrastrarán consigo, el inevitable lastre idiomático y cultural del residente o ciudadano, en tierra extraña.
Aunque muchos de ellos, habilidosamente, acudan - en son de excusa - al recurso estéril de construir la fábula que intenta seducir al ingenuo. Por otro lado, enormes serán las pérdidas demográficas [sobre todo juvenil], para las sociedades más pobres, como la nuestra que en el 2024, continuamos perdiendo habitantes a un ritmo acelerado.
