Worst advice I've ever been given 😡. Week 275

A piece of advice in time can save you from taking a bad step; Of course, good advice! But, what happens when we receive bad advice at the moment we need it the most? 🧐 It has happened to me on a few occasions, but the one that impacted me the most was about two or three years ago, my husband and I were going through a difficult situation with one of our children and really as inexperienced parents we approached an adult person, who we considered was the appropriate one, because she is the mother of several children, grandmother, great-grandmother and we believed that because of her experience she could give us good advice, ! I could not believe it when what we heard from her was: "Run your child out of your home! I could not believe it when we heard from her: "run your son out of your house, let him go, don't give him any help and he will learn! I really felt in my mother's heart that this was not the right advice. When I got home I talked to my husband and we both agreed that we needed to seek another opinion; so, we went to a second person who had already gone through a situation similar to ours and he gave us a totally different advice, we put it into practice and the situation was solved; I thank God that we did not listen to that bad advice; because who knows what would have happened to our son if, instead of supporting him when he needed it we had turned our back on him; that is why it is important to seek advice from the right person!
