Hola de nuevo queridos amigos de la comunidad de creadores! Hoy me emociona mucho presentarles el pequeño cuadro de Momo Ayase y Ken Takakura de la serie de anime Dandadan, como saben estoy tratando de retomar pintar de vez en cuando, así que hoy me decidí por algo que me gusta mucho para decorar mi habitación, a continuación les mostrare un pequeño recuento de todo el proceso, espero sea de su agrado.
Hello again, dear friends in the creative community! Today, I am very excited to present to you this small painting of Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura from the anime series Dandadan. As you know, I am trying to get back into painting from time to time, so today I decided to paint something I really like to decorate my room. Below, I will show you a brief summary of the entire process. I hope you enjoy it.
Esta vez decidí pintar sobre cartón, para ello recicle una caja que estaba en casa y use uno de los pedazos que estaba en mejor estado sin que se notaran las partes internas del cartón, luego use papel para sellar los bordes y evitar que se abriese por los lados, por el lado del frente marque un margen y pegue esta cinta de papel desde allí.
This time I decided to paint on cardboard, so I recycled a box I had at home and used one of the pieces that was in the best condition without the inner parts of the cardboard showing. Then I used paper to seal the edges and prevent it from opening up on the sides. On the front side, I marked a margin and stuck this paper tape there.
Lo siguiente fue elegir un dibujo que se adaptara a mi formato, por el tamaño debía elegir un retrato, pero como quería dibujarlos a ambos fue un poco difícil, pero encontré uno que pude adaptar bastante bien lo recorte en photoshop y luego dibuje unas lineas guías para que todo quedara en su lugar y así quedo el dibujo, listo para pintar.
The next step was to choose a drawing that would fit my format. Due to the size, I had to choose a portrait, but since I wanted to draw both of them, it was a little difficult. However, I found one that I could adapt quite well, cropped it in Photoshop, and then drew some guide lines so that everything would be in place. And that's how the drawing turned out, ready to be painted.
Comencé coloreando la piel, por suerte tenia una mezcla de este tono preparado así que comencé el coloreado de inmediato, luego prepare una mezcla para el cabello de Momo, ya tenia una pintura marrón, pero agregue un poco de rojo y también una pizca de azul para conseguir un tono mas parecido al de Momo, luego con rojo y blanco prepare el color de su suéter y aplique una capa de pintura.
Mientras una parte secada aplicaba el color de otra área, y luego pase una segunda capa en cada zona, hasta conseguir un color suficientemente uniforme.
I started by coloring the skin. Luckily, I had a mixture of this shade ready, so I started coloring right away. Then I prepared a mixture for Momo's hair. I already had some brown paint, but I added a little red and a pinch of blue to get a shade closer to Momo's. Then, using red and white, I prepared the color for her sweater and applied a coat of paint.
While one part dried, I applied the color to another area, and then I applied a second coat to each area until I achieved a sufficiently uniform color.
Seguidamente comencé a preparar las mezclas para las sombras con el tono de rosa previamente creado comencé a oscurecer el tono y luego de ubicar las zonas en sombras las coloree cuidadosamente, siguiendo las lineas trazadas, estaba algo indecisa si colorear el fondo, pero finalmente decidí conservar el mismo (bueno tan bien como lo pudiera recrear) fondo de la imagen original, así que comenzó la parte difícil pues este tenia una serie de degradados que debí colorear incluso antes que la figura, pero pude resolver bastante bien a pesar de todo.
I then began to prepare the mixtures for the shadows using the pink tone I had previously created. I began to darken the tone and, after locating the shadow areas, I carefully colored them in, following the lines I had drawn. I was somewhat undecided about whether to color the background, but in the end I decided to keep the same background as the original image (as well as I could recreate it). so the difficult part began, as it had a series of gradients that I had to color even before the figure, but I was able to resolve it quite well despite everything.
Una vez que pude conseguir un fondo medianamente decente me relaje y seguí definiendo los detalles de la figura, adicionando esta vez el tono de sombra para el área de la piel y hecho esto comencé a definir los ojos y detalles de estos preciosos protagonistas, para luego seguir con la parte mas tediosa el delineado, parte del proceso en que se debe estar muy concentrado, lo que lo hace una parte lenta sobretodo en dibujos así de pequeños.
Once I had achieved a reasonably decent background, I relaxed and continued defining the details of the figure, this time adding the shade tone for the skin area. Once this was done, I began to define the eyes and details of these beautiful protagonists, and then moved on to the most tedious part: the outline. This part of the process requires a great deal of concentration, which makes it a slow process, especially in drawings as small as these.
Luego procedí a colocar el rosa sobre sus rostros, Takakura tiene su cara toda sonrojada, mientras que Momo solo sobre su nariz, en este paso cree también una nueva mezcla para el cabello de Ken, ya que el primer tono que aplique resulto ser muy oscuro, en este punto el fondo ya estaba tomando mucho mas forma y sentía que si podía resultar.
Then I proceeded to apply pink to their faces. Takakura has a completely flushed face, while Momo only has it on her nose. In this step, I also created a new mixture for Ken's hair, since the first shade I applied turned out to be too dark. At this point, the background was already taking shape much more, and I felt that it could work.
Y con Akasa de fondo vigilando todo, pinte el borde que había dejado de margen de color negro y dibuje algunos caracteres de la palabra Dandadan en el fondo,
And with Akasa in the background watching over everything, I painted the border I had left black and drew some characters from the word Dandadan in the background.
Y así ha quedado el pequeño proyecto de hoy, me encanta pintar este tipo de dibujos, es bastante desestresante y me mantiene muy concentrada todo el tiempo, me encanto el resultado, tanto que lo ubicare en el copete de mi cama de adorno, espero que también haya sido de su agrado!
And that's how today's little project turned out. I love painting these kinds of pictures; it's quite relaxing and keeps me focused the whole time. I love the result so much that I'm going to put it on the headboard of my bed as a decoration. I hope you like it too!
