Saludos queridos amigos de la comunidad Splinterlands!
Espero se encuentren de maravilla el día de hoy he venido a presentar una nueva entrada al concurso de Arte de Splinterlands, en esta oportunidad he vuelto a dibujar un par de personajes de la comunidad unos de ellos es Lakit Pekmip mejor conocido como el Techowizologist y el pequeño pero igual un gran mago de curación Tamel Brightwhisker, Meriput Mossmender a continuación les contare de estos personajes y les mostrare un poco del proceso de esta ilustración espero sea de su agrado.
Greetings, dear friends of the Splinterlands community!
I hope you are all doing well today. I am here to submit a new entry to the Splinterlands Art Contest. This time, I have drawn a couple of characters from the community again. One of them is Lakit Pekmip, better known as the Techowizologist, and the small but equally great healing wizard Tamel Brightwhisker, Meriput Mossmender. Below, I will tell you about these characters and show you a little of the process behind this illustration. I hope you like it.
En alguna oportunidad ya había dibujado al Tecnomago, pero no había sido totalmente de mi agrado, por eso tenia presente dibujarlo nuevamente y en esta oportunidad me siento mucho mas satisfecha de la apariencia de este personaje, el Señor Lakit solía ser un aclamado maestro en su tierra natal, era reconocido por su poder mágico, pero también por su bondad y paciencia para enseñar, era un virtuoso en todas las áreas y era muy respetado, también era un esposo y padre ejemplar, pero cuando la Legión del Caos ataco, no hubo oportunidad de salvar a ningún alumno de la academia, ese día lo perdió todo lo importante en su vida, su carrera y a su amada familia, Se unió a los Riftwatcher y ahora esta concentrado en su estudio pensando solo en la venganza.
En un día de esos en los que el Lakit estaba concentrado estudiando tecnomancia, olvidando su comidas servida en una de sus mesas de estudio, el pequeño y audaz Tamel comienza a robar de su queso y huir, lamentablemente fue percibido por los agudos sentidos del Tecnomago y fue atrapado infraganti, sin embargo esta no es un ratoncito indefenso es un prodigio que puede crear pociones usando solo musgo, seguro su ágil cerebro encontrara la forma de salir de esa situación y entonces este sea el principio de una amistad y que unan sus invaluables conocimientos para un fin común, aunque este momento Lakit esta totalmente cegado por la rabia.
I had drawn the Technomage before, but I wasn't entirely happy with it, so I decided to draw him again. This time, I'm much more satisfied with the character's appearance. Lord Lakit used to be a renowned teacher in his homeland, known for his magical powers, but also for his kindness and patience in teaching. He was a virtuoso in all areas and was highly respected. He was also an exemplary husband and father, but when the Legion of Chaos attacked, there was no chance to save any of the academy's students. That day, he lost everything that was important in his life: his career and his beloved family. He joined the Riftwatchers and is now focused on his studies, thinking only of revenge.
On one of those days when Lakit was concentrating on studying technomancy, forgetting his meals served on one of his study tables, the small and daring Tamel began to steal his cheese and run away. Unfortunately, he was detected by the Technomage's keen senses and was caught red-handed. However, this is no defenseless little mouse; he is a prodigy who can create potions using only moss. Surely his agile brain will find a way out of this situation, and this will be the beginning of a friendship in which they combine their invaluable knowledge for a common purpose, although at this moment Lakit is completely blinded by rage.
Como pueden ver la escena que recree fue la que describir anteriormente, con el tecnomago activando su blaster para pulverizar al pequeño Meriput entre sus dedos, el que fue mas difícil de dibujar ha sido al pequeño ya que no sabia muy bien como posicionar su anatomía mientras esta siendo colgado de su espalda, busque para ello referencias de animaciones como Bernardo y Bianca y hasta Tom y Jerry, la verdad me gusto bastante el dibujo y creo que llegue bastante rápido a lo que quería.
Luego procedí a darle color, como siempre tome los colores presentes en el arte original, coloreando cada sección en capas diferentes que agrupe en tres diferentes carpetas, una para el color del tecnomago, otra para el Meriput y una mas para los elementos del fondo.
As you can see, the scene I recreated was the one described above, with the technowizologist activating his blaster to pulverize little Meriput between his fingers. The most difficult part to draw was the little boy, as I wasn't sure how to position his anatomy while he was being hung from his back. To do this, I looked for references in animations such as Bernard and Bianca and even Tom and Jerry. I really liked the drawing and I think I got what I wanted pretty quickly.
Then I proceeded to color it. As always, I took the colors present in the original artwork, coloring each section in different layers that I grouped into three different folders: one for the technowizologist's color, another for Meriput, and one more for the background elements.
Luego seguí con el coloreado, añadí en primer lugar una tenue luz y de allí comencé a añadir el sombreado y definiendo a Lakit, en general fu bastante sencillo con muchos tonos similares en su vestuario, luego comencé a dibujar los elementos dorados como su guante y baster y luego seguí definiendo al segundo personaje, este tenia mucha mas variedad de colores, pero el su diminuto tamaño aligera mucho el trabajo.
Definidos ambos personajes procedí a definir el ambiente, coloreando todos los elementos sobre sus mesa y por ultimo dibuje un rayo de luz fría iluminando esta caótica escena.
Then I continued with the coloring, first adding a soft light and from there I began to add shading and defining Lakit. In general, it was quite simple with many similar tones in his costume. Then I began to draw the golden elements such as his glove and bat, and then I continued defining the second character, who had a much greater variety of colors, but his tiny size made the work much easier. Once both characters were defined, I proceeded to define the environment, coloring all the elements on their table, and finally I drew a ray of cold light illuminating this chaotic scene.
Y Finalmente así ha quedado la ilustración de esta semana, estoy muy feliz, porque había tenido algunos días sin poder encontrar un buen ritmo y en la realización de esta me sentí muy bien, espero que sea del agrado de todos!
And finally, this is how this week's illustration turned out. I'm very happy because I had been struggling to find my rhythm for a few days, but I felt great while working on this one. I hope everyone likes it!
