Me resulta imposible escuchar el término "fraternidad" y no imaginar a un amigo de verdad. Justo la semana pasada estuvimos hablando de esto y recuerdo que mi punto de vista con relación a la amistad fue muy claro, porque expresé que Dios es fiel y nunca me fallara, pero también dije que existían buenos amigos, resaltando que lamentablemente son contados en esta vida. Hoy quiero hablar de los amigos de verdad, esos en los cuales podemos confiar con los ojos cerrados porque jamás nos traicionarían. Un amigo de verdad lo demuestra en todo tiempo, sea buena o mala la situación. Esto es importante destacarlo porque muchos suelen estar presentes en los momentos felices, pero el que verdaderamente hará la diferencia es aquel que perdure en los tiempos difíciles, tiempos donde no hay esperanza y pareciera que todo está perdido.

It is impossible for me to hear the term "fraternity" and not imagine a true friend. Just last week we were talking about this and I remember that my point of view regarding friendship was very clear, because I expressed that God is faithful and will never fail me, but I also said that there are good friends, highlighting that unfortunately they are few and far between in this life. Today I want to talk about true friends, those in whom we can trust with our eyes closed because they would never betray us. A true friend shows it at all times, whether the situation is good or bad. This is important to emphasize because many are usually present in happy times, but the one that will truly make the difference is the one that lasts in difficult times, times where there is no hope and it seems that all is lost.
