Autumn is approaching, the equinox drawing near, yet today still carries the heat of summer, It is almost sweltering today. Summer lingers, though hints of autumn are in the air: green is shifting, a few leaves swirl across the ground when I walked in the park nearby, and the days are definitely growing shorter.
Here is a tender summer memory, full of vibrant green and dreamlike light not long ago. A beam of sunlight filtered through the canopy, angelic in its glow, and the air was alive with dragonflies. One, in particular, kept landing on my hand, as you can see in the video. I hope this little vision brings you calm and a magical memory of summer to save green in your heart until it returns myself... and there I stood at the threshold of Seasons... A liminal space between the Summer and Autumn
At the edge of the creek, the summer fairy appeared by the creek one last time for a final song. Her whispers weave with birds and flowing water, casting a gentle incantation as she dissolves into autumn light. A calming, dreamlike farewell to the season and its warm days by the murmuring creek. Behold the last glimpse of green before the leaves turn. She dances with dragonflies then fades gently and dreamily like, but with the promise of returning as seasons flow. Until next year, Summer Fairy, gone with one last lullaby of green.
With her leaving, green will turn less vibrant, dull and tame, though it will shelter in moss, ivy and evergreens, while the forest slowly will shift to brown and gold. This is a transformation that is featured recurrently in my music, we save green as a promise of regrowth, when the time is right. I confess I did not enjoy this summer as much as I wanted too, as I've been most of it indoors, but this is one moment I will cherish from it and it makes me happy to share it.

This is also my own original ethereal music, a soothing incantation lullaby with the sound of water, birds and fairy whisperings hidden in the melody. May this vision bring you calm and wonder. The threshold of seasons and a fleeting moment that exists only once and vanishes when the first leaf shifts colour. The creek sings, the birds answer, and a fairy whispers a final incantation before vanishing into the turning season. A meditative, ethereal song filled with nature’s voice and calming fantasy tones. A gentle threshold between summer and autumn.
This short fantasy music piece is my own original music, a gentle soothing incantation lullaby (check my youtube channel for more seasonal incantations all along the wheel of the year, which I will eventually compile together). This one is a summer fairy’s farewell sung at the edge of a creek, where dragonflies hover and birds weave their songs into the air. Whisperings drift through the music like secret spells carried on water and wind. I recorded myself the sound of the creek and the birds when I filmed this earlier this Summer using a portable recorder. I love sampling Nature into my music. I hope that you find it calming, and dreamlike: the sound of a season dissolving into autumn, the echo of green wings fading softly into memory.
