A warm hug to everyone in this beautiful Open Mic community. In this week #278, we explore the theme: “Hug Me.” I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of “Abrázame,” a romantic ballad composed by Rafael Ferro and Julio Iglesias and performed by Alejandro Fernández. The lyrics are charming and are a desperate plea to hold on to a love that seems about to fade away. I really like the version by “El Potrillo,” with a style that blends ranchera with ballad. The melody is ascending, intervallic, and full of intense moments. The track I found has an introduction with the sound of a trumpet, which I find inspiring. Listening to it, the energy, emotion, and character combine to evoke something wonderful. In addition, throughout the song, the trumpet accompaniment creates poetic embellishments. The rhythm is marked and energetic, with a 4/4 time signature.

Un cálido abrazo para todos en esta bella comunidad del Open Mic. En esta semana #278, exploramos la temática: “Hug Me”. Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con mi trompeta de «Abrázame», una balada romántica compuesta por Rafael Ferro y Julio Iglesias e interpretada por Alejandro Fernández. La letra es encantadora y es una súplica desesperada por mantener un amor que parece estar a punto de esfumarse. Me gusta mucho la versión del "El Potrillo", con un estilo que mezcla la ranchera con la balada. La melodía es ascendente, interválica y con momentos llenos de intensidad. La pista que encontré tiene una introducción con el sonido de trompeta, el cual me parece inspirador. Al escucharla se combina la energía, la emoción y el carácter para evocar algo maravilloso. Además, en el transcurso de la canción el acompañamiento con trompeta hace unos adornos poéticos. El ritmo es marcado y enérgico  con una cifra indicadora de compas de 4/4.

There is nothing more therapeutic than a hug from those you love. When a couple of days go by and I don't see my mother, her hug comforts me. A hug is a beautiful gesture that fills the soul and strengthens the bonds of friendship, brotherhood, and family. Actions speak louder than words. When someone is going through a difficult time, sometimes words aren't enough. It feels good to hug a friend and, with that action, make them feel like everything will be okay. It's a way of saying, "I'm here for you," "you are not alone," and "I accompany you in your suffering." I firmly believe that God embraces us with his love in every moment. His sacrifice and blessings extend to everyone. A hug is a symbol of reconciliation and forgiveness, a balm that heals the wounds of the heart. With many of my friends from college, hiking, and traveling, we used to give each other a group hug. I hope you receive this interpretation with a fraternal embrace.

No hay nada más terapéutico que un abrazo de aquellas personas que amas. Cuando pasan un par de días y no veo a mi madre, su abrazo me reconforta. El abrazo es un gesto hermoso que llena el alma, y que fortalece los lazos de amistad, hermandad y de la familia. Las acciones hablan más de que las palabras. Cuando alguien está pasando por un momento difícil, a veces las palabras no son suficientes. Se siente bien abrazar a un amigo(a) y con esa acción hacer sentir que todo estará bien.  Es una forma de decir "estoy aquí para ti", "no estás solo" y "te acompaño en tu sufrimiento". Creo firmemente que Dios nos abraza con su amor en cada momento. Su sacrificio y bendiciones se extienden a todos. Y es que un abrazo es símbolo de reconciliación y perdón, un bálsamo que sana las heridas del corazón. Con muchos de mis amigos de la universidad, de senderismo y de viaje, acostumbrábamos a darnos un abrazo grupal. Espero que reciban esta interpretación con un abrazo fraterno.
