A warm greeting to this beautiful #Music community. I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of "The First Time I Loved Forever", a romantic classic pop song composed by Joe Henry and inspired by the poem "Somewhere I have never traveled" by E. E. Cummings. I remember this melody from the series Beauty and the Beast (1989) starring Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton. The lyrics speak of the discovery of true love, its transformative power, and inner courage. This musical piece is in the key of F Major, in my case the performer in G major with a subtle modulation to E major. The melody is tender, romantic, and contemplative with long, ascending phrases. The tempo is moderate-slow, with a time signature of 4/4. It has a fluid and free rhythm with long note figures. I really like its soft nuances and crescendos.

Esta semana ha sido una maravillosa experiencia. Claro, eso no quiere decir que uno no tenga sus sostenidos y bemoles. Uno de esos bemoles que ha afectado mi ritmo de vida fue el daño de mi teléfono, lo cual ha impactado mi desempeño en el trabajo, en las comunicaciones y en mis finanzas. Entiendo que es algo material, pero necesario en la vida actual. Hay tantas cosas que hacemos con el teléfono que forman parte de nuestra cotidianidad. No es sencillo adquirir uno de forma inmediata cuando se tienen otras obligaciones financieras. Este leve contratiempo no me ha generado estrés ni ansiedad, pero sí me ha convertido en una persona más resiliente. Entre los sostenidos, me encuentro en una fase de ingreso al Sistema de Orquestas como formador integral musical. He logrado reunir los recaudos trabajando con mi laptop y con el apoyo de mis padres. Cuando nos acercamos a Dios, podemos enfrentar los desafíos con paz y confianza. Espero que tengan una excelente semana y que disfruten de esta interpretación. ¡Bendiciones!
