A warm greeting to this beautiful #Music community. I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of "Afterglow," a song that blends genres such as folk-pop and the acoustic ballad composed by Ed Sheeran in 2019. The lyrics are beautifully poetic and compare the love and connection between two people to the beauty of the sunset glow. That moment is a magical time, a sanctuary of peace and joy. It undoubtedly has a powerful message of perseverance in love, of hope, and resilience. The song is in the key of B major, and in my case, I perform it in D-flat major. The harmonic progression is cyclical and dynamic, as if it were a love loop in time. I confess that at first it seemed like a low key, but once I heard the melody with the trumpet, I was satisfied with the work I had done. The tempo is moderate with a traditional 4/4 time signature.

Un cálido saludo para esta bella comunidad de #Music. Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Afterglow», una canción que mezcla géneros como el folk-pop y la balada acústica compuesta por Ed Sheeran en 2019. La letra es hermosamente poética y compara el amor y la conexión de dos personas con la belleza del resplandor del atardecer. Ese momento es un tiempo mágico, un santuario de paz y de regocijo. Sin duda, tiene un mensaje poderoso de perseverancia en el amor, de esperanza y resiliencia. La canción está en la tonalidad de B Mayor y en mi caso la interpreto en D bemol mayor. La progresión armónica es cíclica y dinámica como si fuera un bucle de amor en el tiempo. Si les confieso que al principio me pareció una tonalidad baja pero una vez que escuche la melodía con la trompeta, me causo satisfacción el trabajo realizado. El tempo es moderado con una métrica tradicional de 4/4.

The opinion we have of ourselves is important. Often, when something isn't going well for me, I repeat in my mind: you are much more than you think. You are more than your mistakes. When one has negative thoughts, they should question themselves and ask themselves where they come from. We are often influenced by the things we see on social media, television, and even by the people around us. In some cases, we find ourselves in situations where people criticize, talk about problems, and have nothing good to say. You've surely heard the saying that one bad apple spoils the rest. In an orchestra, some people lean on others. Instead of keeping their own pace or following the conductor, they look to what their colleague does for guidance. The problem is that if a colleague makes a mistake, it can have consequences like a chain reaction or domino effect. It's therefore important to follow correct thinking patterns. La opinión que tengamos de nosotros mismos es importante. A menudo, cuando algo no me va bien, repito en mi mente: eres mucho más de lo que piensas. Eres más que tus errores. Cuando uno tiene pensamientos negativos, debe cuestionarse y preguntarse de dónde vienen. Muchas veces somos influenciados por las cosas que vemos en las redes sociales, la televisión e incluso por las personas a nuestro alrededor. En algunos casos nos encontramos en situaciones donde las personas critican, hablan de problemas y no tienen nada bueno que decir. Seguramente han escuchado el refrán que dice que una manzana podrida, termina pudriendo a los demás. En una orquesta algunos se recuestan a los demás. En vez de llevar su propio tiempo o de seguir al director, se fijan en lo que hace el compañero para guiarse. El problema es que, si el compañero se equivoca, esto puede tener consecuencias como una reacción en cadena o efecto dominó. Es por ello importante seguir modelos correctos de pensamiento.
