Hello Family, I’m Gisselle Mitjans, and today I want to open my heart and share with you why I’m here. If I close my eyes and think about who I am, the first word that comes to my mind is “music.” I come from a path where music was always my refuge, my way of healing, and my way of connecting with others. For me, it’s the language that holds the power to express what words alone cannot.
Hola Familia Soy Gisselle Mitjans y hoy quiero abrirle mi corazón y contarle por qué estoy aquí. Si cierro los ojos y pienso en quien soy, la primera palabra que viene a mi mente es "música". Vengo de un camino donde la música fue siempre mi refugio, mi forma de sanar y de conectar con los demás. Para mí es el lenguaje que tiene el poder de expresar lo que las palabras no alcanzan a decir.
I began this journey when I was just 4 years old, joining the choir “Estrellitas” led by teacher Jenifer Almeida, where I opened the doors to a new world — the world of art. There, I discovered and explored theater, dance, and modeling. It wasn’t until I was 10 years old that I began my formal music studies at the Paulita Concepción School of Arts in Havana, specializing in the Laúd.
Comencé este viaje justamente cuando tenía 4 años dedicándome a la formación coral en el Coro "Estrellitas" de la maestra Jenifer Almeida, donde abrí las puertas a un nuevo mundo, el mundo del arte, descubriendo e incursionando en el teatro,el baile y el modelaje. No fue hasta que tenía 10 años, donde inicie mis estudios musicales en la escuela de arte Paulita Concepción, en La Habana, en la especialidad de "Laud".
Through this process, I discovered that music is not only something you feel — it’s freedom and transformation. That very spirit led me to explore new horizons: personal growth, digital businesses, and this incredible ecosystem that I was introduced to thanks to @suanetmusic, who is now my mentor and support.
En este proceso descubrí que la música no solo se siente, es la libertad y transformación y ese mismo espíritu me llevo a explorar nuevos horizontes: El desarrollo personal, los negocios digitales y este grandioso ecosistema que conocí gracias a @suanetmusic quien es actualmente mi guía y apoyo.
Today, at 24 years old, I define myself as a versatile artist with a clear mission: To build a community of followers who connect with my art, who walk with me on this journey, and for my music to touch hearts and become the voice of those who cannot find the words.
Hoy, con 24 años, me defino como una artista versátil con una misión clara: Construir una comunidad de seguidores que conecten con mi arte, que me acompañen a realizar mi sueño y que mi música toque corazones y se convierta en la voz de quienes no encuentran palabras
