Today we had to face the Mauve City Gym. This gym specialized in Flying Type, a neutral type, against our starter's type, so we had an even battle. The first trainers fell quickly, but their leader was a different story. Our strategy was simple but effective: use the move Fury, so that with each passing turn, his power would increase until he reached his Pidgeottio, who could withstand several hits and inflict considerable damage, but in the end, we emerged victorious.
As we left the Gym, we received a call from Professor Elm, informing us that one of his assistants was at the Pokemon Center and had something for us. After identifying it, he gave us a Pokemon egg, this time for us to take care of. It's good to remember that the breeding mechanic was introduced in this generation, hence the emphasis on this aspect from the beginning. Something this game does fantastically is show us the changes that are introduced as an integral part of the story.
After this, we left the city, and the first thing we encountered was the path blocked by this famous "tree," a classic in these games. I won't reveal it now in case there's anyone who doesn't yet know the nature of this "plant." It will be a pleasant surprise later. So, we took the alternate route that leads us to the ruins, where we must solve a sort of ancient puzzle. And yes, another mystery awaits.
After the ruins, Route 32 is a sort of sea route, a route heavily laden with tall grass, designed to test the endurance of trainers. Something very curious is that at the end of it, there's a trainer trying to sell us a Slowpokea color for an exorbitant price. This warns us of the shady business we'll have to face in the next chapter.
Like an oasis in the midst of this storm of battles, we found this Pokemon Center, which fits us like a glove. There, not only did we regain our strength, but they also gave us the old cane, and in fact, we now have another resource to explore the great diversity of this region.

Hoy nos toco enfrentar el gym de ciudad Malva, este se especializaba en tío volador un tipo neutro contra el tipo de nuestro inicial, así que tendríamos una batalla pareja. Los primeros entrenadores cayeron rápidamente, pero su líder, esos si que fue otra historia. Nuestra estrategia era simple pero efectiva, utilizar el movimiento furia, para que cada turno que pasara su poder fuera en aumento hasta llegar a su Pidgeottio quien si pudo aguantar varios golpes y hacernos un daño considerable, pero al final salimos victoriosos.
Al salir del Gym residimos una llamada del profesor Elm quien nos informa que uno de sus ayudantes esta en el centro Pokemon y tiene algo para nosotros. Luego de identificarlo este nos entrega un huevo Pokemon, en esta ocasión para que nosotros cuidemos de él. Es bueno recordar que la mecánica de la crianza se introdujo en esta generación por eso el hincapié desde el principio en este aspecto. Algo que hace de manera fantástica este juego es mostrarnos los cambios que se van introduciendo como parte integral de la historia.
Luego de esto salimos de la ciudad y lo primero que nos encontramos es el camino bloqueado por este tan famoso "arbol" un clásico en estos juegos, pero que no revelare ahora por si hay alguien que aún no conozca la naturaleza de esta "planta" será una buena sorpresa más adelante. Así tomamos la ruta alternativa que nos lleva hasta las ruinas donde debemos armar una especie de rompecabezas antiguo. Y si otro misterio a futuro.
Luego de las ruinas la ruta 32 es una especie de ruta marina vs una ruta muy cargada de hierva alta, hecha para probar la resistencia de los entrenadores. Algo muy curuoso es que al final de esta hay un entrenador qué nos intenta vender una colo de Slowpokea un precio estratosferico. Cosa que nos advierte del negocio turbio que tendremos que enfrentar en el próximo capitulo.
Cómo un oasis en medio de esta tormenta de batallas, encontramos este centro Pokemon que nos viene como anillo al dedo ahí más que recuperar fuerza nos regalan también la caña vieja y en efecto ya tenemos un recurso más para explorar la gran diversidad de esta región.
