And after all the commotion of the previous chapter, we advance to Iris City. At first, it seemed like a quiet field of grass, but it ended up becoming the most Japanese-influenced city in a region entirely inspired by Kyoto.
Upon arrival, the first thing we do is go to the gym, but a monk stops us, announcing that their leader isn't there and that we should come back later. As is becoming a tradition in this region, it seems we have to complete some prior mission.
Exploring the city, we find an old man spying through a window. When we interact with him, he tells us about very beautiful girls, reminiscent of something very similar seen in Kanto outside the ground floor gym. With this in mind, we decide to enter. Inside, we learn that it's a group of girls who dance to entertain the public, but also battle. These each feature the existing Eavee forms up to that point, which also serves as a way for the game to introduce us to the new Psychic and Dark forms.
Once we defeat them all, the owner of the place gives us what could be the most important HM in the entire Surf game. With this, we can travel to previously impossible places. But we can't use it yet until we obtain the city's badge.
Upon entering the Pokemon Center in this city, we meet Bill, a character we've seen at least mentioned in every generation so far. He tells us about his latest invention located there: a machine that allows Pokemon to learn the moves they've forgotten. Thus, we gain insight into what seems to be the focus of this game, where we can find cutting-edge technology in the most traditional city.

Y luego de todo el revuelo del capítulo anterior avanzamos hasta Ciudad Iris lo que al principio parecía un tranquilo campo de hierva termino por convertirse en la ciudad más influenciada por el estilo japones de una región por entera inspirada en Kyoto.
Al llegar lo primero que hacemos es ir a su gym, pero un monje nos detiene el paso anunciando que su líder no se encuentra que volvamos luego. Como se va haciendo tradición en esta región al parecer debemos cumplir alguna misión previa.
Explorando la ciudad encontramos a un anciano espiando por una ventana, cuando interactuamos con él nos habla de chicas muy hermosas, cosa que recuerda a algo muy parecido visto en Kanto a las afueras del Gym de planta. Con este entecedente decidimos entrar, en u interior nos enteramos que se trata de un grupo de chicas que danzan para entretener al público, pero también combate. Estas llevan cada una las formas de Eavee existentes hasta ese momento, cosa que también le sirve al juego para presentarnos las formas nuevas tipo Psíquico y Siniestro.
Una vez las derrotamos a todas el dueño del sitio nos regala el que pudiera ser el MO más importante de todo el juego Surf, con este podríamos desplazarnos por sitios imposibles hasta ahora. Pero todavía no lo podemos usar hasta obtener la medalla de esta ciudad.
Al entrar al centro Pokemon de esta ciudad nos encontramos con Bill, personaje que ya hemos visto por lo menos citado, en todas las generaciones hasta ahora, este nos habla de su último invento situado en este sitio, una maquina para que los Pokemon aprendan los movimientos que habían olvidado. Así vamos ganando pista hacia el que parece ser el enfoque de este juego, donde podemos encontrar tegnologia de punta en la ciudad más tradicional.
