And finally, the League. This region is a classic, for many the best in the series. Although exploring it wasn't a challenge, since we sort of had it in our hands, we did manage to make it through a very memorable journey to get here, the final challenge: The Pokemon League.
The first trainer of the league seemed like a tough guy, and he was. A Dark-type trainer, whom we were able to face and defeat with our Blasiken and its high hook. I thought it was a nice touch that this was the first Elite Four, since this type was introduced only a generation ago and at that time still had few representatives, something similar to the next case. Its most notable Pokémon was undoubtedly Absoul.
The second trainer, as many might have predicted, specialized in the Ghost-type. A type that until the previous generation only had two evolutionary lines, but now has a couple of members. Of these, the most notable was Dusclops, with its pure Ghost-type and high defenses—something never before seen in a Ghost-type Pokémon—as well as Banette's high Attack. We decided to face this High Command with Ludicolo using Surf, though without a type advantage, it cost us a bit more.
The third trainer was an Ice-type, and Blasiken's Fire Kick made a big difference. Ice-types have always been among the most mistreated in the series, with remarkable offensive power, but useless defensively. Hopefully, this will change in the near future. Of all the Pokémon in this High Command, Glali was the third one I liked the most.
The last High Command before facing the leader was a Dragon-type. The best type in the series by far, but we were able to sweep it using Ludicolo's Blizzard. There were times when I had to use Aether, but its Salamence didn't deserve to be defeated any other way than with a good icy storm.
And if we were already facing the champion, who was this? Well, Puvio himself gave us a really good fight, since we had Ludicolo, but with a very weak plant attack and something random like Recurrent. His entire team was a challenge, but the best fight, in my opinion, was Ludicolo vs. Ludicolo. He didn't lose a single time.
And so we become champions. As is traditional, the professor comes to give us the good Menorah, and his son, our reval, also tries to join us in the Hall of Fame, but no, this is a place reserved for those who achieve glory. Y por fin la Liga, esta región es un clásico, para muchos la mejor de la saga y aunque explorarla no fue un reto, ya que un poco la teníamos en las palmas de las manos, si logramos hacer un recorrido muy memorable hasta llegar aquí, el último reto La Liga Pokemon.
El primer entrenador de la liga pintaba como un tipo duro y si lo era. Un entrenador tipo Siniestro, que pudimos enfrentar y vencer con nuestro Blasiken y su gancho alto. Me pareció un detalle bonito que este fuera el primer Alto mando ya que este era un tipo introducido hace solo una generación y para esa fecha aún tenía pocos representantes, algo parecido al caso siguiente. Su Pokemon más destacado sin dudas fue Absoul.
La segunda entrenadora como muchos habrán podido haber hecho la prediccion se especializaba en tipo fantasma. Un tipo que hasta la generación anterior solo contaba con dos líneas evolutivas, pero que ahora se le suman un par de integrantes. De estos el más destacable Dusclops con su tipo fantasma puro y altas defensas, esto era algo que nunca se había visto en un Poke tipo fantasma, así como el alto Ataque de Banette. A esta alto mando decidimos enfrentarla con Ludicolo usando Surf, sin ventaja de tipos si nos costó algo más.
La tercera entrenadora fue tipo hielo y bueno la Patada Ignea de Blasiken marco la diferencia por mucho. El tipo hielo siempre ha sido de los más maltratados de la saga, si con un poder ofensivo muy destacable, pero defensivamente inútil. Ojalá y esto cambie en un futuro cercano. De todos los Pokemon de esta alto mando Glali fue 3l qué más me gustó.
Ya el último alto mando antes de enfrentar al líder fue de tipo Dragón. El mejor tipo de la saga por mucho, pero que pudimos barrer usando la Ventisca de Ludicolo, si hubo en ocasiones que tuve que usar Éter, pero es que su salamence no merecía ser vencido de otra manera que no fuese con una buena tormenta helada.
Y si ya estábamos frente al campeón ¿y quien era este? Pues si el mismísimo Puvio nos dio muy buena batalla realmente, ya que teníamos a Ludicolo, pero con un ataque planta con muy poca potencia y algo aleatorio como es Recurrente. Todo su equipo fue un reto, pero el mejor combate a mi parecer fue un Ludicolo VS Ludicolo. No tuvo perdida ninguna.
Y así nos volvemos campeones como es tradicional el profesor pasa a darnos la Menorá buena y su hijo nuestro reval también intenta pasar al salón de la fama junto a nosotros, pero no, este es un sitio reservado para los que logran alcanzar la gloria.
